  1. Do these little devils eventually go away? Or do you always get flare ups each time you poop?
  2. A little is an understatement ????
  3. In case you didn't get it, a*****e really stands for *******.
  4. So, yea. It's happened. You can probably assume that the main subject of this thread will be about a painful a*****e. You would be correct. Who has hemorrhoids? Did they fully go away? Did Prep H work? What else works? I feel like my a*****e has been raped by a bull. Thanks guys.

    Anyone living in South Florida?

I've never even been to a single support group meeting!
  6. Lost 2 of the rolls on my stomach. Now, all thats left is the bottom one, which is still substantially smaller. Yay sleeve!
  7. I had similar concerns when I would go out to eat also. I honestly either pick off of other people's plates or I order from the appetizer menu. I used to order regular entrees but I realized although it may sound good at that point, it doesn't seem appetizing as a left over. In other words, if I want it then, I don't want it again later. It's also not very cost efficient.

most people here will say "as soon as you're up for it." just keep in mind that you should keep it simple and stay away from the rough stuff
  9. I'm obsessed too. I need to hide my scale. I've made it a habit to weigh in every morning it doesn't bother me if I don't see a change the next day, but if a few days go by, I start to get frustrated. Learn from my mistakes: hide your scale!!
  10. Hi all, just following up: sleeved 4/1 and down 75 lbs as of this morning.
  11. To be completely honest, I chose the sleeve because I didn't want a huge bulge in my stomach where the lap band port is. If you look at pictures, you can CLEARLY see something poking out of peoples' stomachs. The band vs sleeve recovery is mostly the same. Similar pre surgery diet and very similar post op diet. Good luck on your decision! My experience has been great. I went into surgery 4/1 and the next morning I was discharged. I was walking around the hospital 30 minutes after surgery. Recovery was really easy and I honestly felt fine. Some gas pain, some incision pain, but nothing I couldn't handle. I didn't even take any of the pain medication they sent me home with and I was back at work a week after being sleeved. My suggestion would be to read some of the forums here. There are several that are entitled "just got sleeved" or something similar. Poke around and make sure you're confident in your decision!
