Today is day 5 of 13 of my pre op diet...I have never reached the "not hungry" state and each evening the hunger is intense. But I'm doing it (never thought I'd be successful!). And I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.... Down 4 pounds so far. I hope that number rises to at least 10 by June 25th! -

Today is Day 2 of my liquid diet. Surgery is June 25th. Day 1 was not so bad...way better than I thought. But I woke up this morning hungry...I hope today goes well! Had my preop class and testing two days ago. I am no longer nervous..,just very excited!! Lets do this!! -
Shakes start tomorrow!

Omg I just got stomach jitters reading this!!! Mine is June 25th too and to hear "three weeks away" made it so real all of a sudden! Eeekkk!! -

That pre op diet is what I'm most nervous about! Not the surgery itself but the pre op diet...crazy smh -

My diet is given to me June 11th the day I meet with the anesthesiologist and the PA and dietician where they go over everything. Did they not set u up for your pre op appts?
