9weeks out 51 pounds down and I feel AMAZING loving my sleeve to the fullest although I call my sleeve "indecisive" it's still my healing baby this has been a bumping ride so far but this has been the best decision of my LIFE!!! My good days out weigh my bad ones

I was sleeved on march 8th....my highest weight was 309 day of surgery 299....today I'm 270 and I have been stuck at 270 for 2 weeks ughhhhh very frustrating. Anyway I'm so hungry ALL THE TIME....I want to eat everything....the first two weeks after my surgery I was never hungry now all I want to do is eat and snack and my stomach is but so big so I find myself over eating and throwing up after I need HELP...is anyone else feeling this way? why am I so HUNGRY??

I'm only 7weeks out but trust me it gets better it's much better for me now but in the beginning I went thru it.

I had the same issue days after my surgery....my problem was drinking to fast!

I'm sticking to my protein but not so much my veggies....I'm eating lots of clean chicken and fish...it just seems like I'm never full.....I don't drink enough so maybe I just need to up my drinking.....thanks much for the advice.

I'm pass that stage I'm on soft solids I can't stomach the site of protein shakes anymore.

I do now really think it's a mind think never thought about it till now....thanks!

@@marfar7 thanks much....I noticed when I do eat to fast I vomit immediately....this whole thing is such a learning process....I'm so use to eating fast and not chewing slow....I will get there. Thanks again

Ok so here's my story....last year I started my journey to have the sleeve done everything was going very well....I was approved to have it done on May 9th 2013.....I started my liquid diet and on day 2 I was rushed to the hospital for dehydration....I blacked out in the bathroom of the emergency room and woke up on the floor with the WORST BACK PAIN OF MY LIFE....long story short I hurt my back so bad I couldn't have the surgery .....so I went back to my old eating habits and kept putting the surgery off even tho my back was doing so much better. SO HERE I AM ALMOST A YEAR LATER and something just clicked in my head and said "GIRL DO YOU REALLY WANT TO LIVE LIKE THIS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE OR DO YOU WANT TO GET READY FOR THE SUMMER WITH A NEW START ON LIFE"?? And I called my surgeon the next morning and made a appointment to see her and I seen her on February 17th and she checked all my paper work from last year and to my surprise she said I wouldn't have to start all over....I was the happiest PERSON ON earth at the time.....so she gave me a date for MARCH 8th 2014 .....I couldn't believe the date she said I was IN SHOCK.... All I have to do is the pre admission testing and some blood work from my doctor....I'm BEYOND EXCITED this time around....I'm nervous and scared but I believe in GOD AND he will see me thru I start my liquid diet 2moro and I'm scared of what happened last year so I will be drinking water and liquids all day because I'm so ready to get this done and over with. *EXHALES* sorry for talking so much lol

Thanks again everyone I love this site for support it really helps....I'm on my liquid diet now and OMG my mind is trying to talk my head off about food but I know it's just a mind thing and I'm so much stronger then my mind Hunger

Are we suppose to take Vitamins when we are on the pre-op or can we?? I never took vitamins but being that I'm not eating food like I use to....I don't want to feel faint or weak!!

I started my pre-op diet 2days ago I'm just noticing I'm feeling more tired then usual...so I was wondering if a multi-v would work it's the weekend and I can't call my doc!! Ill wait till Monday to find out if its ok!! Thanks everyone!!!
