After having 2 strokes in 2011, and developing diabetes, I decided to go ahead with bariatric surgery. My doc sent me to St. Joesphs Hospital in Hamilton Ontario which is an OHIP approved bariatric site. I was approved and my surgery will be completely covered by OHIP. I will have to pay for any plastic surgery I wish to have after weight loss. My date is May 15 and I start my 2 weeks of Optifast on Monday. I cannot wait to start losing. I have no worries about the surgery as I will be in God's hands. I want to talk to people who have already went through the surgery and are living their new life!
