[b]I have been over weight all of my life. I was made fun of like a lot of other people and then started using humor to make people laugh so they couldn't see the real me that was hurting so bad inside. I have weighed over 250 for the past 25 years. My older son who worked out all the time and always tried to encourage me to work out and get control of my weight committed suicide because of a bad marriage separation. He could not live without having his daughter around him everyday and still loved his wife. I decided this last year that in his memory I was finally going to do what he wanted me to do and what my health needed me to do. So I went and saw Dr. Kennedy and set my surgery date. I am four months out and have lost 50 pounds. I feel wonderful and everyone says I look great. I have been at a stall this past month but the inches are coming off and I feel great. I know he would be so proud of me and I am grateful that I can honor his memory with my new outlook on life and better health.[/b]
