About Me
I am a 54 year old single gay man living in Fort Lauderdale. I have been overweight most of my life, I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol (I am on medication for both). Now my blood glucose levels are starting to rise. I have definitely started to slow down and would like to get a second chance.
I was sleeved November 18, 2013, I was uncomfortable coming out of surgery because of the gas used to inflate the abdominal cavity. Within hours that seemed to diminish and when I arrived in my hospital room, if I did not move, I would not even know I had surgery. When I moved around I could feel some pulling but it felt more like the pain you get after some exercise when you have not exercised in a while. I did not like the catheter or the IV port and those were the most uncomfortable parts of my hospital stay. I was sleeved by Dr, Paul Wizman at Broward Health Coral Springs and I recommend both whole heartedly.
I live in the Galt area of Fort Lauderdale, I plan to increase my exercise level and slowly, and really make the most of this second chance that has been given to me
