    I wanted to say I got some excellent advice when I was told to measure myself as well as weigh because you'll lose inches when you don't lose pounds. In the past five days I lost one pound and I lost 6 3/4 inches. That made me very happy!!!

    Mine lasted a little over a week. Try to get all your fluids in because that's what helped me through it. Don't get frustrated like I did because I even gained a few pounds. The scale will start moving again.

    I am three weeks out from surgery, and I've already reached a stall and gained a couple pounds. I don't see how this is since I'm eating so much less. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm getting frustrated!!!

    It's officially one week ago today and I'm getting better everyday. I get to start eating yogurt and creamy soups today. I'm so excited to try something other than broth. I'm still having some gas pains occasionally and they do hurt! Is anyone else feeling this? Hope everyone else is doing well. You're all in my prayers and God bless!!!

    I'm 6 days post-op and I'm having a really hard time getting all my fluids in for the day. I feel like I'm drinking all day but not getting all my doctor recommends. Did anyone else have this issue? I don't want to get dehydrated.

    I'm lying in the hospital bed waiting to go back. They gave me something for nerves and its helped a lot. I'll keep everyone posted.

    I can't believe I'm only a couple days away, May 24th. I'm really excited and nervous at the same time. I fly out Thursday then no turning back. Good luck and prayers to us all!!!

    I can't believe my surgery is only one week away, May 24th. It seems like I've been planning this forever. I'm starting to get really nervous now!!! I know this is what I want but I'm still a little scared.
