He is, more than likely, scared himself, that you will change and become a different person, sounds like some serious insecurities on his part.

I am not on an antiacid, but I thought that might have something to do with it, I will be calling my dr tomrrow, to see if I can start on Zantac.

yes, for 3 days before surgery and for 2 weeks before I did mostly protein shakes, with a small meal each day. I won't say I was perfect, but I lost some weight during the process.

I had the sleeve on Thursday, and I have not vomited 1 time. I have a bit of an upset stomach but the nurse gave me a pepsid pill, which I was scared to death to try and swollow, it went down fine, no problem. I really wasn't that bad, but today we normally go out to eat on Sunday after church, and I am really missing that!! You will be fine, it was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. good luck!!

Ok had the gastric sleeve on Thursday, May 30, and it was not really that bad, I have had some soreness but no more than gallbladder surgery. Now I just stay hungry. If i go for a period of 35-40 minutes without something in my stomach I have horrible hunger pangs. I am drinking gluecerna with unjury protein in it, which should be enough protein at this point....but I am still so hungry. I feel hurngy, not just in my head, my stomach is rumbling, has anyone else had this problem.
