I am due to be sleeved on June 24, I am on my pre op diet, 2 weeks. My Liver shrinking diet consists of 5 (8 oz) high Protein shakes a day. I bought the vanilla and choc. Today is day 3. Doing great! I get 4 "low carb meal tickets" in this 2 weeks. So this week I will have one meal Thurs. I am planning a breakfast. The other meal will be Fathers Day! The days I have a meal, I only have 4 shakes. Excitedwe are all due for surgery at same time! Good Luck!!!

I thought about the same thing as you..(chewing something, then spitting out),,when I go to my pre op..I like to look at others before and after pictures, for my inspiration..I hear the pre op is one of the hardest things to do, but my Nutritionist said it wont kill us,,we will survive! Hang in there!!

My surgery is June 24, My Birthday is June 2, and i want the yummiest Cake! I plan to eat my fill! Otherwise, I am really trying to stay on my 1200 cal diet, until surgery..My mind is already in that mode, and its better it stays there! I guess I will have a cake funeral!

I am pre-op and so far I paid $300 for Doctor consult, $355 for 2 nutrition classes, $288 for Pych Evaluation,(Ins paid $60) and waiting on Ins to pay the $900 Extensive Blood workup..I was surprised, b/c INS said it will pay for weightloss surgery,,and Nut, and Pych was a hoop I am having to jump through demanded by BC Insurance of Al..(teachers),,I havent paid the Pych b/c I will have to get a loan when this is all over..I also had to do a 6 month Dr Monitored weight loss Program (or weight watchers)before I have surgery..I amwaiting on a surgery date now.. I will do what I have to do..but Im having this surgery,,,jump in..do it..!! talk to ins company yourself...good luck!!!
