    Swimming -- wow!

    Well i swim everyday. Right now i do between 50-72 laps 25yrd pool takes 1-1.5hrs. I started at 30mins 3 times a week and now im on 7 days a week. I break it up with two times a week in the gym lifting weights but i still swim those days.

    Crystal. Oh boy they will changing there minds when you drop a 100lbs or however much you need to drop. People just dont understand. Best best BEST thing i ever did for my health.

    Nsv!!!!

    I got one. Went to see my wife at the resturant she works in. Rode my motorcycle over there so i was still wearing my leather jacket. Talked to her for a minute. When i leave one of her female co workers was all 'who WAS that man?'. When she told her it was her husband, she was all ' o i didnt know, im really sorry'. Gotta love leather Jackets (and 70LBS gone)

    Dont worry Lisa, everyone had to start somewhere. Just ask people questions both at the gym and on here and youll find there only too happy to help. Explain to the people there youve never joined a gym and they will help. You might even get a free personal trainer session. It is important to learn how so you dont hurt yourself. You can get books on how to do it too. Tuesday : 50 laps in the pool. Tomorrow is weight trainning and swimming. Go Jmcambra! Waht kind of Dog was it? Bet the Dog was shocked.

    Saturaday, 50 laps in the pool. O here is something cool: I went in to the resturant my wife works in to say hi in my leather mcycle jacket and later on wife calls me and says a girl there was asking her about me as she didnt realize we were married! She sad 'whos that guy you were talking to?' wife say my husband, she says o i am really sorry i didnt know. sweet.

    Banded Aug 6th 07 440Lbs, As of Today 369Lbs. Was not concerned. Feel great. I guess thats almost 3 months now.

    GO ladies!!!!!!!! I would be tempted to try a spin class now. 50 laps 1hr 10mins in pool (had a meeting this morning to go to) Reached my Oct Goal. Think im going to shoot for 20lbs in October, that will be petty hard to get to but its worth a shot.

    Oh my gosh!!!!! Do you know that only 20% of the worlds population even owns a car! Its all about perspective. Seriously book a week off and go to another country in the world, see how they live, you will feel m uch better. "I need a newer BMW". Do you hear yourself? I really am hopeing you were just really upset when you wrote that.

    Working Out is ALL about showing up Daily

    Way to go!!!!! I started with 3 a week then after a while i go EVERY day. Even sat and sun. hated it at first. now im loving it. I have to get up at 4am! to go in the week as i have to be at work by 7am

    Chris...me too! The Hopsital is probably just not using the right code to bill your insurance. Dont self pay call hospital and insurance and they will get it resolved. I have BCBS too and they cant seem to get anything coded right.

    Yes this is what pbing is. I felt guilty when it happeneded to me as i thought i had broken the rules. Believe me EVERYONE will end up doing this at one point or another. Eating 1/2 cup of food just didnt seem right so i thought i could eat through the feeling. YOU CANT get past it. YOu feel anything and just stop. Throw it away, was very very hard for me to throw food away at first.

    August Bandsters How are you Doing So Far

    Nicole, My doc told me when you have your first fill the band actually absords some of the soultion of a day or two. He put 2cc's in mine and he said if he was to take it all out in a few days there would only be 1cc come out. I think what your going through is normal even though i can understand the frustration. It might take as many as 3 or 4 fills to get you in your sweet spot he said or it might take 1 or 2. Different with different people. Hang in there.
