  1. yeah i got myself in all kinds of trouble doing too much at once. The brain is willing its just the body i have to ever so gently bring up. I did swim for a lot of weeks before i even attempted it. Did week 4 day 2 today. Not too too bad. But it sure is a challange. I have to make sure i rest between days or it all goes horribly wrong.
  2. O k i cant get the podcast to play on my mp3 player. Has anyone converted it to Mp3 or wma?
  3. Way to go go with week 5! Dont worry about the weekend we all do that stupid stuff. the important thing is you are not giving up!!!! Keep going. Cant change what happened at the weekend. I need the insperation!

  5. hey thanks Jamie. I try to remember its not a race. Im so used to instant gratifaction thats maybe why i over eat but this is not instant. as long as im going down im doing ok. i have a doc appointment every 4 weeks and as long as i lose 4 lbs min i will be ok!
  6. hi Jamie. Its hard to find ppl here that have ALOT of weight to lose like me. But slowly its coming off. I been going to the gym for almost 3 months now at least 5 days a week most of the time 7.

    youch! Glo! The teeth thing sucks! I hate pain in my mouth. rocking on the exercise though. wait..i hate pain anywhere. . espically neck or butt.

    yeah im with Green. I have to get up at freakin 4.00am to get in my exercise but boy do i feel upset if i miss it. The whole day feels weird.
  10. what is your heart rate hitting? i know for me a young foxy 32 year old...120-150 is good.. I should not be hitting my than 160. My walks are now hitting about 120 and my runs about 145 or so. It keeps getting lower all the time though:) Now when my wife shows me her latest weight loss area it hits 180!

    just imagine your beating up your insurance companys president. I was always trying to guess which one was his daughter on there. But he will spank your butt! I just couldnt stand getting up in the morning and doing it in my underwear while the cat stared at me the whole time thinking 'what the HECK are you doing crazy human?' But it did make me sweat. Go Billy go Billy. Double time time now.. one ..two...three....four.... I just like to be in gyms where i can see everyone else suffering with me.

    Does anyone have a new gen iPod Nano?

    hey seroiusly look into thr Sansa CLip from SanDisk. Almost as small as a shuffle but it has a screen and a radio built in!!!! I cant belivie this thing and best thing is 1GB is less than $40 in Walmart!!!!!!!!! The 2GB is is only $60!!! I love it!!!! Kicks Ipods butt! Voice recorder too. Going to hard to find then soon.!

    i did Tae Bo once. they are pretty hard but good. I just cant do the whole video thing. Its a good place to get started. I am all about our YMCA. Yeah at 205 u should be able to exercise pretty easily. Look at my fat a## on the treadmill but you just got to do it.
  15. yeah shes right! i was watching the biggest loser the other night (i dont really like it, too much crying) And this one guy was sooooooooooo dissapointed with ONLY losing 6 pounds in a week....thats insane!

  17. Yeah my loss has REALLY slowed to and im eating right and exercising like a mad man. But its all good for you!! i got my 4 week doc weigh in tomorrow.
  18. my doc checks me every 4 weeks too to see how im doing and see if i need a fill. i too had one 6 weeks after surgery and then every 4 weeks 2 so far. I try and remember this is all about long term. As an overeater im soo used to instant gratifaction and exercise and eating right are not always instant gratifaction.

    yeah my Y has a parents night out once a month too. Woo hoo. Its only $10 for the whole night! You are sooo right about the guy that called back on Sunday. thats exactly what he did im sure.

She asked if i got it right and as i didnt want to seem dumb i said..oh year i got it....now i m screwed no way i can ask foor help now

    OK. When people say they have no time to exercise its not really true. I mean you have time to shower before work..time to clean your teeth things like that because you make time for it. You can make time for exercise too. Think of exercise as something you just HAVE to do. I mean people HAVE to go to work and they accept that. Nobody wants to go to work but you just HAVE to. Same with exercise. Aside from the fat losing benifits you are extending your life!..After about age 35-40 your muscles start to natually get lose and dissapear (depressing huh?) Well they will sag and dry up like prunes if you dont exercise them.....Your hear is a muscle! Eventually its going to fail..if you make it strong by exercising it is going to last waaaaaayyyyy longer! If you dont exercise it most cardiologist KNOW its going to fail pretty soon after 40. But these days they can keep you alive with it failing by just drugging it along. I dont want that! Start SLOW! Swim 20 mins...do the awesome C25K programe but do SOMETHING. Hope this might help. O and exercise produces long term results not short term. Exercise for 2 months and not much diff will be seen but exercise for a year and wow!
