  1. Im just off work..not off exercise Ok here is my screen shot of week 4. I am keeping records of my screen shots. i have week 3. Its kind of cool to compare them.

    Ok today. Weight lifted 30 mins. C25k week 4 day 3 swam 20 mins........hot tub mmmmmmmmmmmmm Finaly got my combo dial locker working at the Y! Now i can keep all my stuff in there like shampoo and and shower gel. Although all those guys walking round naked all the time still makes me a little uncomftable...they dont seem to have a problem with it...im still not comftable holding a conversation with a stranger and we are bith naked :/

  6. Ok just did week 4 workout 3. Not too bad. I finaly worked out my combo dial locker at the Y! So i can leave all my shower shell and stuff in there. Gosh i felt so nasty and guilty all day yesterday as i had to miss the gym due to a head ache. Read about a gut on here that lost 100LBS in 4 months! Holy crap! He said he walked at 4mph 6 days a week for 50 mins and watched his diet carefully. THats a crazy loss!

    Di is not going on a date till Friday (kind of scary i know this). THat means we might have to wait till monday to see how it went ahhhhhhhhhhh. i cant wait that long

    when the band is in its sweet spot i should not need to track calories and carbs and protein. go for the protein foods first but he says there is no way ANYONE can eat 50-60 grams of protein and 64 oz of water with out feeling like a prisnor! He said there is pretty much almost no cases of someone with a band being protein defincent!

    None! He wants me to listern to my body not track a bunch of numbers . He wants me to get away from all those numbers. Eat sensible foods one with low calrioe desinty. in other words a 1000 calories of candy bars would not look like much in your hand but lets say 1000 cals of chicken of 1000 of vegtables you wouldnt even be able to hold in your hands. He wants to liberate us from tracking everything.

    you go JM! GOod plan. I hate counting all that crap too. SO every few weeks i will keep track on fitday.com for a few days just to see. My DOc/surgeon doesnt even want me counting calroeis! he said the whole point of the band was to get me to eat like a normal weight person, he said look at a heathly normal weight person, do they count calories? nope, yet they maintain a good BMI.
  13. well just keep at it JM. keep pushing at it and dont give up. My wife has notice she will lose nothing for 2 weeks then the next 2 weeks she loses a bunch and the next 2 nothing...weird huh. Gosh i have really godd restriction this morning! Even felt really full on a little egg beaters!
  14. good luck tonight. Thanks. But remeber i got ALOT more weight o lose than you The 5 min run is kinda cool. Its the first time i actually delt like i could settle in to something and start to feel like a runner. I notice the skinny ppl there take ALOT of notice of how long im jogging on there.
  15. JM! Better get your butt moving tonight! I know u had a lot on your mind of late so dont beat yourself up too much for missing alot...that my job! No exercise this morning, woke up with a huge headache so took som med and slept it off before work.
  16. Well i had a 3rd fill yesterday. I go to the doc every 4 weeks and by his scale i lost 12lbs since my last visit 4 weeks ago. About 65lbs total now! I would be happy with 2lb a week but ill take 12 in 4 weeks ! Went to our support group last night. Our surgeon talked this time, was excellant, dispelled alot of lap band myths or theorys that have been out dated. About 2.3 or roux y and rest are banders. OMG the roux y ppl have had alot of problems. This one chick was in ICU for 2.5 months after her roux y bypass! Not one bander has had a problem. He said he completed 141 lap bands so far and all have had no slipage! Phew!

    Well i went in yesterday and now im up to 4cc. Feel some good restriction i will take it easy today and see how it goes.

    For those with a 10cc Band

    I have a 10cc put in on August 6th 07. My doc said it was tight when he put it in so i might not need that much fill. Fist fill 2cc. felt something right away. Second fill 1cc total 3cc have restriction but not quite enogh. Third fill will be today. yahhhh.
