    Yeah Stef.. i too will lose weight this holiday season. They had a weigh in at the Y before thanksgiving and another on Jan 8th. Going to lose weight this Christmas. That will be another first.

    I cant WAIT for the day i can wear a XL tee shirt and buy my pants in those Normal Stores! In august of this year i was in 6x t shirts and now im just about into some 3xl shirts.

  8. I just finished week 6 workout 2 which was 2 10 min runs. not too bad. Tuesday is going to be the 25min run. Found my mp3 in the cushion in my car (thank goodness). Now whats a good mp3 download site?

  10. Go JM! I guess what i was trying to say is that i didnt want you guys feeling left out. I think you doing fantastic and i know we all have our lives happen around our exercise. Sorry to hear about your leg things but it is really important to look after ourselves. Yeah holidays are CRAZY. Im gona be home alone! I got to take my fam to the Airport on Christmas Day and they are coming back on New Years day! ahhhhhhhh. They are visting my in laws and i couldnt get the time off. Guess ill be doing ALOT of exercise that week. I am in NO way perfect about all my eating, i want to encouarage all of us to KEEP keeping on!
  11. GO KAREN!!!! We both made the 20 min mark!!!! I m proud of you!!!!!!!!!!!!! Didnt it feel good!!!!! YOu make sure you rest from it tomorrow though! The next workout is easyer for some reason, i guess to me it was like a mini marathon. I got week 6 workout 2 tomorrow. BTw...JM and Losing.. Keep it up...keep going.....i think you ladies are doing fantastic.!!!

  14. Thnaks JM, Well i did week 6 workout 1 of C25k and swam a while. So disapointed i got into the stores early this morning and they were all out of the mp3 i wanted. Well i got my kids new bikes for Christmas! What a good Daddy! And the game Operation! That game always freaked me out as i was so scared of the buzzing...i would get all shakey with anxiety.

    Hey Wheetsin that happened to me to. Coming from England and my wife being American we had to prove she made enough money to fully surrport me and i would not have to worry about the govement paying for me. Even though i was a skilled tradesman (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning tech) and i could make way more money then she could we still had to sign off. I think its weird that as soon as i started work they had NO problem taking alot of money out of my check to pay for other ppl. Oh well. O and i did have to go through health screening and a criminal check and pay about $2000 before i could move here. Wheetsin ...where is your hubby from?

    Black Friday??

    I really break the mold. I HATE shopping. I much prefer shopping online... But I LOVE black Friday for some reason. I get caught up in the excitement. Im actually getting my wife up at 4am to get out there...YEAH BABY.... I love that the stores you can t move in them. Went to Circuit city once and it was like a jammed full night club... ..i remember once my said grab a cart quick...and i said ' nooo it will only slow us down..leave the cart behind ..run free...' I just love all the crazyness of it all. Even if i dont buy anything..i just get in the crowd and lift my feet and go with the crowd wooooohooooo. Yeah i know..im pretty missed up...thats caz im British...man my British friends would freak over Black Friday. I miss Boxing day though!

    Yep, Wife and i made it to the YMca this morning to swim some laps, sit in the hot tub and hang in the sauna for a while. Not crazy intense exercise but it was something.

    Your NO-NO list

    ok..please dont take offense at this. Think of it as a theory. I hear a lot of foods that are really good for you in here that people say they just CANT eat and will avoid at all cost. What if.....(this came from my Doc)..The food that make you full really quick are not the food not avoid. Lets say you had ..half a cup of scrabbled eggs and had a REALLY bad pb eposode. (oh ive had em too). So you neve eat them again. Maybe you eat just a little too much of them or eat them just a hint to fast. Try them again, eat slower and they make you full REALLY quick and for a really long time...Wouldnt this be a GOOD thing? Now forget the junk food. Look to eat food with low calorie concertation. What i mean by that is 1000 calrories in candy you could probably hold in your hand. 1000 Calrories in Brocholi or scrabbled eggs would be huge volume. Now its just a thought. There is nothing i can NOT eat as long as i go sloooowwww and small bites and stop as soon as im full. Even if that means my whole meal is 3 tiny tiny little bites of say ..eggs or something. For the pre banders...dont think there will be a certain food you can never eat again. And watch out for the dietians your insurance makes you go to...they really dont understand the whole band thoery. Please,...im not trying to make anyone mad...just a theory. Thanks,
  25. Ok i know this is the wrong place to post this but i dont really have any other buddies here except for November exercise and most of you are there anyway. But today a became a tucker! Yes thats right i took my t shirt or shirt into my pants now and dont look stupid. Woo hoo.
