    December Exercise

    hi ladys. Got back home last night. Did 2.5 mile run...swam for 30mins. Have to fly out again on Christmas Day. But i should be able to use the ymca in delaware. I hear you about missing a day Jess. O here is a great loss. between Sun and yesterday (thurs) i lost 6 pounds while i was traveling on buisness.! And i blew up the hotels treadmill!

    Couch to 5K

    Julie i just got back from Ohio, I have to go there for buisnees, One week i do cincinnati then colubus then Cleveland then Toledo. YEs it really works!. I can run for 30 mins now every other day. I still go slow as im still heavy but as an example between Sunday and thursday this week i dropped 6 pounnds! I do some swimming also. I started it in October and no way did i think i would be able to go 30min run then! But now i can do it! you should see the looks i get at the Y when this big ol guy can go 30mins. I run (jog) at 4.5mph right now which is slow but i can make it. I would run outside but im just too embrassed at my weight. Keep it up ppl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    oh thanks JM! Lol. My wife does walk away sometimes. She cant stand how peepy Lesile is at 6am though:) I loved ou excuses! I think we have all said them.

    Di baby........5hours.....hmmmmm.............. Ahhh if i was drivin back to WI! Jess ill try and catch up with u tonight. GO JM!!!!!!!!!!Work it! I ran for 20mins and broke the crappy hotel treadmill...ooops. Started smelling funny then tripped the breaker. So i finished off with the bike and swimming.

    yeah i got to renew my membership to our y to dibabby. It went up this year, i think its going to be like 700 for the whole year for a family membership...yikes. it was 500 something last year! Well i got my mone out of it anyway. Sorry your feeling like crap jess. I was thinking of hitting Dayton tomorrow but there is no point if u dont feel well

  10. Ok Ok wheres our new thread losing? i just completed week 9 workout 3 so...im done:) For the next few weeks im going to try keep going at the 30min run as its still pretty dang hard. Keep going ppls!

    December Exercise

    You Ladies are just AWESOME. Yeah its pretty nice up here im right near the Airport side. Got back to my hotel at 5pm and nothing to do...so what the heck..i hit the gym again! Twice in one day! Did my week 9 c25k (30min run) I made the motor on the treadmill all hot and electically stinky :/! Swam for about 45 mins after that.

    Wow you guys are doing great....Away this week in Columbus OH. Exercised at the hotel this morning and im thinking about going again tonight. Went to a motorcycle store tonight (Iron Pony) its an old Kmart store converted its HUGE Jess might know it. Also Jess went to Easton Town Center WOW that place is big! Went to the store and bought lean cuisines for the freezer for the next few days dinner rather than eating out.

    Exercise before and after.

    Good question..for me: There was something about getting the band mentally. I immediately felt like i had just got a huge tool to help me loose weight and exercise. I was exerciseing about 3 times a week before the band pre op...but it seemed just such a huge uphill struggle. As soon as i got it i wanted to exercise more. I stepped it up to just about every day. Started with 30 mins swimming then 45 then 60 then 1hr 10.. Then i started mixing in weight trainning with it then after losing some more i started the couch to 5k program. Now im up to 30min run every other day with 40 mins swim and the other days i do 45 mins weight lifting and 40 mins swimming. I can run about 2.25 miles 3x a week now and im slowly increasing. Ive had a really bad cold the last three weeks and my chest is weazing so i backed off a little on exercise right now. Probably the toughest is i have to travel for work between Oct and April every other week so now i have to make sure the hotel has a good gym or one close by. Honestly...after getting the band it did wonders for me mentally. Now i have a LONG way to go but i managed to drop 80LBS in 4 months after banding and im really hopeing to go for 100 in 6 months.

    Ok couldnt make it to the y today. But i sholved snow...no ice...off my deck for 1 hour. Cant shake this dang cold. Got to pack again for another buiss trip.

    OK not about me but heck......my wife was laying on the bed on her back last night and she say 'ow i can see my knees when i look down now! oh and i can see my hooo haa too!" She doing great! Im proud of her.

    Jm- Im so sorry...that totally sucks!!!! I would be really upset too. Do you go to your doc every 4 weeks? I hope you fill helps. Its weird sometimes a fill wont make much effect on me untill 2 or 3 days latter. Watch what you eat. I could have 10cc in my 10cc band and i could eat all the candy i want! Go for the solid foods! Alot of people get so over filled that they just change their diet to soft mushy foods like candy and high cal soup etc and they put weight on. Stick to chicken and solids after tomorrow. Plateus are Evil! I think it tougher women. You might be eating right and exercising right and still plautea for a while. Just keep doing it JM! I feel really bad for you...i would feel really defeated...keep coming here and keep going for it no matter what. Keep exercising keep eating right
