    shhhhhhh i was sleeping...............zzzzzzzzz.......... Well i did a whole 4 miles this morning (wow) before i could not feel my junk anymore. (and i do like to feel my junk) but i did run and swim at least.

    im really on the fense with supplements. They are a heck of a lot of money. I mean i fully believe you need protein for you muscles to rebuild as there pretty much made of protein. I never found much advantages of supplements. I tried it both ways and could see no difference. I took in alot of creatine that surposed to make a big diff but i didnt see much diff when i wasnt taking it. Again im not saying they work or dont work i am just really on the fence about it...(gosh this fence hurts)

    way to go wombat!!!! glad you did it!!! Today i did 30min run. i calculated the energy. and it takes 700 calories to do it at my weight....700!

    Stef!!!!!!!! 32 miles!!!!!!!!! oh gosh! your amazing! yeah ive found portable dvds for 70 bucks for a 7 or 8 inch online before. I bet your legs were exploding. Today i ran 2.5 miles...cycled 4 miles (still getting used to not be able to feel my junk after 20mins). swam for 25mins. Totaled it all up and it came to about 1400 calories! dang! i would of stayed longer but time permits. I can easily do 1.5hrs in the gym now but i want to do more just dont have the time as i have to be at work. I love to lift weights in my break periods too. Like ill ride 20 mins and then lift weights 20 mins and then ride another 20 mins. jess.....hope your ok we havnt heard from ya...i know your busy with things though. Jm....yeah the plastic fasinates me too!

    yeah the last 3 days have been a candy party! i hate it! it makes me feel like crap too. i told myself today the party is OVER! Go to the doc and sing 'fill me up buttercup' to him...that should suitably freak him out.

    Thanks guys W will be fine. Wow good points there! Ill pm you soon! I tried going 20 on reg exercise bike then 20 on the recumbent bike and then another 20 on reg the other day and that worked out ok. I dont want to ride a recumbient bike outside thats why i dont want to get to used to it but it does change things up. The padded shorts are an awesome idea...i didnt even think about that....doh. I never thought i wider saddle would be worse too! Thanks. Stef is AWESOME! W.

    Stef...another good one is say do shoulder pushes all the way up until you fail 15-20 maybe ...and then do just half way up untill you fail For arms 21's an are awesome. If u dont know what these are let me know.

    Stef...yeah i dont think you will get bored of it as long as keep yourr Ipod going. I think it would be great to train on the actual bike you ride on in the summer. i got a few body buiding tricks i can share with you. like Pre exhaust method (its a killer) What you want to do is have two machines (or weights) set up for one muscle group. Aim for about 15-20 reps untill you can do NO MORE at all and with out a rest switch machines. For example 16-20 bench presses until u fail then go straight to flys. 6 sets of that and youll be feelin it:)

    Dibaby........i hear you about being baaaaddd. I partyed a little too much too. But im really proud of you for getting back on it!!!!! I keep telling myself today .....the partying is OVER! and there is just candy everywhere here at my inlaws.

    Thanks juli...maybe a tri athlon...they do one every year at my y and its a big deal. 15mile ride, 3 mile run ..1/4mile swim..not to bad. Only thing is the swim is in lake michigan Brrrrrrrrrrrr even in August. I was thinking of maybe volunteering to help so i could see how the whole thing goes down.

    Ok im joining this thread. I read it alot as you guys are hilarous. I started adding cycling to my rountine at the Y because i really want to be able to ride in the spring. My first problem: I can only do 20mins max as i cant feel my butt (and other things) after that time. I walk around and lift some weights for a break and then do another 20 mins. I swim and run too but im really really hoping as my weight goes down this wont be such a problem. Did any of you experiance this at first? Thanks......

    Hi....Good job on keeping the workouts up...JM you better get over there :eek: i really interested to see how the bike trainner works out. Today i went back to the Delaware Y cycled for 40 mins. I can only do 20 mins at a time as i cant feel my butt after 20mins (and other things!) . Between them i lifted weights and then did 40 mins swimming. I feel like a total wuss not being able to ride longer than 20mins a shot. They did have really cool bikes though with screens and kind of a video game almost where you ride a track and against other bikes and you have to steer it round the track (the handlebars move) and change gears for hills. Angel....my wife and i are both interested in your whole recovery so keep us posted and get better!

    You go Karen! Keep going...midnight? lol...you make sure your safe out there! Wombat!!!!!! I am excited for you! And your family! Tell me how you did as soon as you can! Today im in Delaware visting inlaws so i worked out at the local Y but i managed to do my 30 min jog at about 4.6mph. Then i rode the bike for 10 mins and swam for 45 mins. Now just to encouage you people im about 348 and i can still do 30min runs now! Now way i could of done it on week 1 i would of totally collapsed. Advise for Wombat...go SUPER slow when you jog today. Its going to more about building your joints and muscles up then it is burning cals and going fast.

    you go Karen!!! Let us know how it goes. Wish i could be there to cheer you on! Some of you that know me know i like to post random pictures sometimes. Here is todays workout. This is 30mins running. As you can see i go so slow i got a while before i can make 3 miles or 5k. But it does get easier.

    Angel nurse...Glad you made it though ok! Good to hear from you. You rest yourself lady. Jm yep i am...espically if i do the Boston show in 08! Ok tonight i did 60mins on the bike. 15 miles. I had to take a 3 min break ever 20 mins as my butt went numb..but i love to my riding my real bike in the spring. Tomorrow is running as long as we dont get to much snow. anything less than 8 inches is considered normal round ere. Jess....kinda weird..but i wasnt going to go to the gym today but i decided to dedicate my ride to you and your Dad. Take care my friends...Until tomorrow!

    Oh gosh Jess. Im so sorry. That is really sad. Let us know if there is anything we can do. I cant imagaine a world without my folks in it. Thats got to be so difficult. Our prayers our with you.
