    oh yes i definately ramped up! I read that if you run 3 times a week for 30 mins you will drop 1-2 pounds a week without even changing your diet!!! Keep at it lulu!

    January Exercise - HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

    Ben and Jerry are evil i tells ya. Didnt one of them die from heart failure? Did i mention i worked out Twice yesterday? I ran 30 mins this morning and swam 20 mins. Stef.....I really been cutting back the weight lifting in favour of cardio lately...i need to lose weight more than gainning muscle. I just only have so much time.. I lift weights about 2x a week now. Thats one muscle group a week roughly. Been feeling guilty about this...but i figure i can do more weights when im a lower weight...

    Oh gosh you guys have been busy beavering away at a plan! Stef i emiled my goals to you . Thanks SOO much for setting it up!!! Yesterday i went to the gym twice! lol! got up to 35 mins and 10 miles on the bike and some swimming. Thanks for the butt pad tip!

    Im slowwwly working up on the bike...yesterday i did 35 mins and about 10 miles. Thanks for all you numb nuts tips B , they really helped me.

    January Exercise - HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

    Yeah ive been working up to it....they have a 30min beginners class but its always in the day time. The other one is 45mins and im still not sure i could do it for that long yet. Ive done 20mins so far and had to take 5 min breaks between each 20 min session as i cant feel my butt anymore.

    KAREN!!!!! WOW!!!!!! In in awe!!!!!! You did it!!! I think that is completely amazing!!! Thats very insperational to me!!!! Im really hopeing you post a pic of it or email me some sometime soon! As for me i have been steady running every other day for 30mins with a 5 min walk warm up. Its still not easy so im keeping it at that right now. Im still sLOWWWW so i only make it to about 2.5miles. Average i go 4.5mph but i did make it u to 5mph for about 3 mins today. Karen!!!!!!!!!!! go lady go!!!!! Great job!!!! Get those pics posted .

    Wow! I too am going cold Turkey on the Sugur for at least 21 days. I made the mistake of visiting a British Candy store i know whe i waas in Delaware. English candy is the BEST...plus i grow up on it. Big Mistake. I worked my butt off in the gym last week and only missed Christmas day and i just mangaged to lose 1/2 to 1 pound and thats all. Better than a gain but i ate sooo much crap. I bet if i hadnt i would of lost 5 pounds. That 150 things looks great. I wonder if they have something like that around here or in MI i could get to. Y is having an Indoor triathlon i might sign up for in feb. You guys are very insperational!

    January Exercise - HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

    Well im back...2.5mile run..5mile bike....and 1/2 mile swim. I looked in at the spin class still waaaaaaaaaay too scary looking. O great the Cat is drinking my tea. Im off work today and i still got up at 4am to go exercise and im seriously considering going back later....what the heck is wrong with me???????????? Well .... i didnt eat to good between Christmas and New years :/! Way too much candy...imdetoxing from candy today. Thankfully with all the exercise i managed to lose 1/2 a pound or pretty much maintain the same weight in that week. Gosh i was bad. I went to a British candy store i know and English candy is THE best in the whole world. Why did i do it!

    Hey you know im always in! Off to the Gym this morning to get in a 30min run and some bikeing and swimming hopefully. i agree totally with JM about all the newbies there.     Couch to 5K Anyone want to start with me ?

    4 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!oh gosh! dont do that!!!! Seroiusly....no matter how fit you are 4 weeks is gona kill you. The point is to build u your muscles and joints to get you up to running 5k. I was SUPER crazy when i went through it but you WILL hurt yourself if you dont follow it. My advice would be on the rest days to do other exercisining like swimming or weight trainning. Your joints need to build up strength or your really going to hurt yourself.

    Ok Steff...Thanks for starting the thread!!!!! I dont know which one to go to now but ill try and stick with this one. Love hearing about all that home gym crazyness! Well i was in Delaware all last week but i somehow managed to work out everyday except Christmas day. Even today! i Stayed up till midnight and then had to get up at 4am to get my ass to Baltimore to catch a flight back...soooooooooooooo..i get back to house at noon and i know the YMCA closes at 2pm today so i drop my bags and rush right over there. 40 mins on the bike and 40 mins cycling. I am sooooooooooooo sleepy now. Guess thats normal. Thanks heavens i had a vaction day left over that im using tomorrow! The people....WELCOME ! im Jon...I post crazy pictures here from time to time so watch out.

    Hey Jm!!!!!!Happy New Year. Just watched a tv thing about Boston. You guys should be pretty happy. The Big Dig is opening, Patriots cant stop winning, Red Sox winning and even the Celtics? are doing well? You should be on top of the world! All of you guys HAPPY NEW YEAR!

    Luluc Yes there is a c25K podcast but i cant remember the link. It only works on Ipods not MP3 players. I will try and remember. If not pls someone else put the link up. Karen.......GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!! Your SUPER Brave!!!!!!!!!!! I have only got up tp about 2.5miles so far and that is pretty much my limit right now. Pleeeeeeeeeeaaassssssssseeeeeeeee let me know how it goes. I got a 8am flight out of here back home tomorrow which means i got to get up at 4.30am. Stay up till midnight?????? i dunno.

    wow Miss Tracey! You seem to know alot about running! Welcome. I think we could all learn from you. i have been thinking about running shoes alot. I am TOTALY too embrassed to go to a store as i ve been told the best way is to go to a running store and have them fit you for running shoes. i do run 30mins every other day right now and the fact im still up in the 300's i would think they would look at me like im crazy! On the other hand i know these crappy $30 piece of crap sneakers are not doing me any good also. Do you have any advice?
