    February Exercise Challenge

    I hear you Valstar! The last 3 days i havnt been eating right and it really gets to me. My advice: Join Sparkspeople and track everything you eat for the next week or 2! THat really helps get me back on track. If you need accountability i will check your foods for you on there. You can also track your exercise. I know its a pain in the butt but when i track it i do way better.

    CoolCrystal : WOw good for you for confessing...you sound just like me before i was banded!!! DONT WORRY you will NOT be able to eat like that after you get banded and have good restriction NO WAY your eating a 12 inch sub. NO WAY you will be able to eat in the car like that. Do i miss food? Yes...Is being thinner and lighter much better YESSSSSSSS! YOull be fine...i had the same fears! 6 months this week and 115 gone!

    O dont worry Di i am def the biggest in the class...you should come to my class then you wouldnt be the biggest. Yes i just love to see myself progressing, Pretty soon i wont have to decide which cheek i want to go on the saddle.

    In Jan i missed 2 days when i did not exercise and they were both day i had to go to church and then fly out in the afternoon for work. Did alot of Airport walking though

    Hey thanks Texas and Fran! To awnser your questions YES I LOVE MY BAND I am still losing big most of the time. Usally 2-4 a week but i have been as high as 8 in a week sometimes. THe biggest challenge was keeping my exercise up when i travel for work which is about 2 weeks a month right now. But i have a whole system for it now. Whoyadaddy boot camp Lol. Sunday was my High day...i dont do that all the time but at least once a week i like to work myself up to a super workout. Today : Ran 35 mins with 5 mins walk on each side for a total of 3.6miles. Swam 20 mins of laps. I left the pool at 6.30am and i still didnt make it to work till 7.08. Got to shave my shower/change rountine somehow:)

    Juilia! Where have u been hiding? all that wedding planning? how far have you got? Jess: Great job yesterday!!!! Lets see you hit it again today!!!! I know you can do it!! YOur loss last week was fantastic! Yelsnia: Great job getting on that treadmill!!! Thats half the battle right there! Hey i just noticed we are the same age! 1975 was a good year! Well you coulda been 1974. Today: Ran for 5k........ran for 35min total walked 5 mins each side of it for a total of 3.6 miles. 20 mins swimming Laps.

    February Exercise Challenge

    Well Fran asked if i would start posting here and i figured why not. I was banded August 6th 2007, so far i have lost 115 pounds and its soon to be my 6 month aniversry. For today i did a 45 spin class and 40mins of weight lifting. I wish i could do more i just dont have the time before work to do it. And with 4 daughters there is not time after work...At the weekend i go a little longer. I proud to be an August Bandster.

    Angel!!!!!!!!! Welcome back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Weve missed you! I know not being able to exercise has been driving you insane (who would of thought!) Did weight lifting for 40 mins today and 45 spin class at 5.45am. 630 finish does not give me hardly ANY time to shower and get to work. I make it by 7.05 i got to work out how to shve 5 mins off my getting ready time.

    lol Stranger! Yeah once your at a good restriction is VERY difficult to be bad. MY Superbowl party food? about 12 wheatthins and a South Beach bar...woo hoo im really partying it up.

    Ok i hit another huge goal for me I ran for 60mins non stop at about 5.0mph and hit over 5 miles!!!!! WOW..and i didnt even feel too too bad. I bought some new running shirts in walmart which are like the under armor shirts but sooo much cheaper and the worked fantastic! I was way more comfortable. I walked 5 mins before and after the 60mins and also did a 25min bike ride and 30 min lap swim. I had a super good workout today.

    Luluc....yeah im so glad i inspried someone to not use travel as an excuse...i have travel and exercise down to a fine art now... As im a member of the Y i can use any y (most hotel gyms suck!) YMCA's can be hit or miss. So this week i thought 'hey what the heck...i know i can expense a gym pass to any club' so i went to LA Fittness and Planet Fittness and found another local one. MUCH better idea. I just look on Yahoo yellow pages and call them to see if ill need to bring a hotel towel.

    4lbs is amazing Jess!!! Way to go!!1 I had a super workout today.... 60mins running yes 60!!! I made over 5 miles...10 min walk.....25 mins on the bike and 30 mins swimming laps.. That is the furthest i have ever run and it wasnt that bad.

    Glad to have you!!!! i would start slooooow. I started with about 25 mins swimming 6 days a week. That did wonders!. i worked it up...added weight lifting...did couch to 5K ...added bikeing....added spin class... Cardio is imprtant but building muscles is also excellant and zapping calories. In other words the denser your muscle the more calories they suck up to keep them going. Weight lifting is way overlooked by most women as they think they will get all muscley...this is not true.

    This is starting to look like the Jon & Jess show here....where is everyone:) ...not that i mind... Today is gona be a little busy....oh im so tired of busy....i just want to hang out in the house all morning and play Rock Band and get to the gym this afternoon. But i got to get to Church..... Steff Please write me in for another 5lbs down this week...So thats 325....oh i can not wait to be out the 300's. Jess....The 13th? you can do it...becareful though...i know i went crazy to hit the 100 and after i did it i had no energy left to keep going...It was a little hard moving on from that but you are over half way to your goal now!!!!!! Half way lady!!!! thats amazing...

    Wow ! good job on the 5k!!!! You both doing great!!!! I checked out your pictures and you are both extremely hot!!! Im proud to know you. Wish i could of been down there...Im sooooo jealous of the good weather too...I am so sick of the snow....oh gosh i cant wait for Summer. Well i gota get moving this morning but there is a 5K in store for today later this afternoon.

    Luluc!!!!!!!!!! Your well on you way!!!!!!! ?Im proud of you....week 5 is the turning point and your doing it! Yes im 325lbs and yes i can run 4 miles in 45 mins and my knees and ankles are fine. !!!!
