    I am so COLD!!!

    This is a common thing. I think its because your body is burning the fat stored because it doesnt get enough energy from the low cals your taking in. This isnt a bad thing either. Your body is using alot of energy to convert that fat into energy you need. Energy is heat. Same thing. So as takes energy up you losse heat. Now its hard to prove this scientically. I am FREEZING right now. Wisconsins -37F doesnt help. But i try and think...if im cold it mean im losing weight :smile:! I used to be hot ALL the time. Even have a big fan under my desk. Havnt used that since surgery!

    August Bandsters How are you Doing So Far

    Pizzai i can totally relate to making right choices right now. Everyonce in a while i would eat a candy bar. I have no problem with this if i keep it like once a week. Then yester day i was up to 3 in one day. CRAP. I know this is old habits. SO today im kicking my butt to not eat any for a long time. I didnt go through all this to eat freakin candy.

    Jess Jess Jess... 6 inches is awesome!!!! Your so hard on yourself. Your doing great. Ahhh no more Eliptikill machine. I cant stand them anyway...i know you like them. And my daughter said i didnt look Manly on them and there only meant for women. I thin you should get lines tatooed on your body so they measure in the same place everytime. I need to buy a tapemeasure. I just cant bring myself to go into a sewing shop.

    February Exercise Challenge

    Salsa and Texas!!! Your both doing great!!!!!!!!!! Keep it up Ladies!!!!! Great Job!!! I am not a fan of the Stair MAster either...i like running and bikeing and swimming too much for that :smile: I cant do Eliptikill either. Today : Ran 30min Spin Class : 45mins Late for work : again! Candy Bars consumed last night: 2 (i know i know) Temperture in Wisconsin : FREAKING FREEZIN!

    For Just Us Guys

    Ah your welcome CT Man.....I try to workout everyday ..on average i miss about 2-3 days a month normally because im flying somewhere. I travel for work a good bit so i have to find local gyms all the time. Ive been stalled for the last 2 weeks so im really pushing to break through this plateau. I know ive been eating a little too much choclatte of late so im trying to get out of this bad habbit. I dont want you thinking i eat perfectly! Ive really upped my water the last week ...basically drink water till your pee is clear! Takes me about 2.5-3liters to do that. I absoultley cant wait to ride my bicycle this summer here on the lake and trails. Also getting back on my motorcycle with 100 pounds gone sure is going to feel good. I can buy clothes in reg stores now!!!!! I cant tell you how amazing that is to me!!,. And i pay$15 for a shirt instead of $50 at the big and tall stores!!!! You keep it up CT! It is possible to do it! Just make exersise a part of your life and soon you will love it (i NEVER thought id like it!)

    Hey guys. Yes i had aches and pains. But the couch to 5k is all about buiding up your joints and muscles to get used to it. I took alot of Calcium LOTS of water and viatmins. after a few weeks no pain with it at all. I Swam for about 8 weeks post op before i tried it. High BMI tips? I dont really know. Just keep at it. Its hard at first but get easier!

    wow thanks! Good for you!!!! 26 miles...my gosh.... Ive done 10 miles in high school b4 but i walked alot of it. I think ill do some more 10K's and then do some 10miles and work up from there. Thanks for the info! Sorrry to take over the thread. BigM message me sometime i need to have someone with experaince to ask questions.

    GOod Job ParaGirl!!! Yeah the band really helped my to kick start my exercise. I was going 3x a week pre band but its so mental having it i go everyday now!:mad: Sorry about all the Snow guys ....i cant wiat to go to Florida!

    LOL! Spending time together! How Funny! Hey i have to travel to pittsburg and Altoona in April...Im goning to be looking for good gyms around there while im working:)! I used to think i had to find a Y when i traveled and some are REALLY nice and some not soo much...Then it struck me....i can expenses a day pass anyway so i just find somewhere nice and local...i been to Ballys, Planet Fittness....LA Fittness...all kinds...maybe i should be one of those secret gym shoppers:) Jess is doing SOOOOOOO well!!!

    Hey thanks for the slide show!!!! And thx Jax for the encouagement...THe only prob with a sport bike is my 8 yr old daughter LOVES to ride on my bike...and with a sissy bar its ideal for her. Im going to get her a real helmet this year so i might be sticking with it. Yes it does look like a Truimph...did i mention i LOVE Truimphs! Jax...Im SOOO Jealous....Its -37F here today...thats MINUS! It makes your eyes Water right away and then your tear freezes to your face! Even if i was back in London England it would be way better than this!:cursing: Well im leaving vicarouly through u now

    Steve.... There is a fantastic program called Couch to 5k which gets you slowly back into jogging. I started it in October. On Sat i ran my first 10K non stop because this program slowly built me up. Therre r threads ono the exercise part about it.
