    Last night 7.5 milr run Today 3 mile run, 45 min spin class Last night the big pool was closed and they were cleaning it..i asked why as it was not scheduled 'oh someone puked up in it' ....clean AWAY!

    Just to make you all feel bad, i just read a book "Ultra Marathon Man..Dean Karnazes' Would HIGHLY recomend it. He ran 226 miles non stop! Thats running from Friday at 5pm ish though untill Sunday with no resting!!

    Actually the year after he did it again the 199 and turned around and ran another marathon to 226.2 miles Thats like 10 marathons in row!

    Hi! Im still at it. I am all excited to watch the Tour of Califonia next week. MacMadame, you should watch some..its on the vs chanal. It will be good viewing to get you ready for Triathlons. I am considering getting out of my comfort zone today by taking a lunchtime run outside. I have a shower in my office but im afaid of the looks ill get walking through the factory. Ok insperation time: A book i would HIGHLY HIGHLY recomend is Ultra Marathon Man by Dean Karnazes. Im nealy done it. Its a huge insperation for running. Think running 6 miles is painful? This guy has ran 199miles in a row! no rest! Started Friday at 5pm and finished Sunday morning. I know none of us could even think about that kind of distance. But it helps me HUGELY when i hit 5 or 6 miles and start to become a baby in my head about how it hurts. GOOD READING. You can get it on Amazon.com i am sure.

    February 2009 Exercise Challenge

    Swam 35mins folled imeadately by 45 min spin class...practice for indoor triathlon coming up. I am thinking about getting outside my comfort zone and going for a lunchtime run today. I have a shower in my office im just afraid of the looks ill get walking through the factory.

    Sat: 2x Spin classes for a total of 90mins 5 mile run Its 55F here today!!!!!!!! omg!! If the roads werent so wet with melty snow id be SOO out on my bike right now.

    Good luck tonight!!! You can do it!! We all started on this program and look at us now! :confused: I couldnt run straight for more than 1 min to begin with in Nov 2007 and now im considering doing 27 mile Marathon this year or next. (Actually an Ironman that has a Marathon in it)

    1 Gig is huge..they will all fit on there no problem. The weather here in Wisconsin is meant to warm up this weekend! Yes an amazing 35F for the high!!!!! WOW!!!:thumbup::confused: There is a 15K run tomorrow (9.3 miles) i am thinking i WANT to do but i have to see if someone can watch my kiddos. I totally have not tappered for it either!! lol..typical last minute stuff from me. I would be looking at a time of 1hr 30min - 1hr 45min i think. Ill let you know if i get to do it or not. Shin splints can be treatable. There are alot of exersise you can do to make it much better. Try and read up on it. Well if no outdoor ru tomorrow it is going to be double spin class and 10K at the YMCA where its nice and warm

    Interval training is awesome for building up speed. Sometime on some of my longer runs it helps time go by quickly too. Fartleks? are great too if your outside. All this is is picking a spot, could be the next lampost or the next block to pick you speed up untill you get there..then slow down again. It helps you run fast but be able to go back to a mangeable run pace when you cant go no more. Also great if your ever racing and want to overtake someone.

    O there is a FREE worldwide Triathlon coming up. I been downloading Podcast from a guy named SimplyStu off ITunes. Turns out he lives in Wisconsin. Well anyway he has a free triathlon you can register for. If your kids r doing it they will even get a free t shirts. Go to SimplyStu Triathlon Podcast for info.

    Carol: You did GREAT!!! Every run is never wasted. Its all valuable experiance!! you shaved time off you last one and you experiance cold conditions! Im proud of you. Georgia: PLEASE dont run outside!! Take time off...i need you 100% fit for us!

    Training for a triathlon...

    The women i have seen wear all sorts. Allot of the swim in a sprots bra. Ive seen then swim in a triathlon Bikini of sorts and then run and bike in it to. Some of them go in there one piece swim suits with a bra underneath then just throw on shorts for the run and bike.

    Superbowl SUnday : weights, 4 mile run, 40 mins swim Monday: 3.2 mile run and a 45min Spin Class Ann does the class on Monday and she majorly kicks are butt, remind me of Gillian of Biggest Loser
