    Sleeved in June

My clothes are way too loose as well! Finally had to give up and buy a few things for work or risk going back looking like I took a permanent dump in my back side. Went from 18/20 W to a 16 misses. The 14 W pants were too big from my legs. SOOO happy to be able to shop in the misses section again!

5 days post op GAS AND DIARRHEA

I'm 9 weeks post-op. The loose bowel movements are normal, and it went away for me when I switched to soft foods. The gas pain was horrid for me--especially in my back and left shoulder--walking and a heating pad helped me out the most. I had lingering air in my left shoulder up until week 3/4. Towards the end I only felt it when I would exercise.

    Need encouragement.

Jeanie, any type of surgery is scary and it is okay to be scared; but low BMI or not, you have struggled with your weight for a very long time. We are all here because we struggled with our weight and suffer from some form of food addiction. I for one refused to feel guilty or let other people judge me because I chose to utilize a technology to make myself healthier. People utilize technology everyday to make their lives easier, we are no different. My husband too never--EVER--made a comment or judgement about my weight, but I wanted to be healthier. I wanted to stop the weight gain. I wanted to be better. Don't let the fear of judgement from other people stop you from making yourself healthier. This is not about them, this is about you. Your life. Your health. Your future. Good luck tomorrow. We shall see you on the other side!

    Question for the ladies.....

I was just going to post something about this! Today has been awful! I have just been hungry all day and nothing seems to satisfy me! I even added some weight (which, doesn't really bother me...I know it is water weight from Auntie Flow's soon-to-be-visit) today, about 3 pounds, despite being on track with calories and quality foods. Ugh...if reincarnation is real, I want to come back as a man!

    Losing too fast?

I'm only two days ahead of you and I am down 30lbs too. The other weight was lost pre-sleeve. You are doing great! You're going to be fabulous in no time!!!

    Losing too fast?

32 oz minimum to avoid dehydration, 64 oz is optimal... I'm sure you are doing fine!

    Losing too fast?

I lost 14 pounds week 1. It slowed by half the following week, and continued to slow thereafter. It is normal due to the loss of body fluid and possible dehydration. Your body will adjust soon. Congrats and good luck!

  21. Hey there low BMIers! Just checking in with my progress... As of last night, I am 31 pounds down since my surgery weigh-in! I participated in a glow in the dark 5K last night and finished in 39 minutes! Now I know that is not a stellar time, but it was for me and my fitness level. I am loving my sleeve! I wish you all continued success and future success to all of you pre-sleevers! Good luck tomorrow Bellanthin!!! thanks again for the recipes!
