7 weeks out and pretty much can eat mostly anything soft. I had a bad day. One I realized I could eat chips I kinda lost it this weekend. I ate chicken tacos for lunch 1 and 2 more for dinner. They were smaller than usual but the fact that I could eat them kinda scared me. Trying 2 get the water intake in can sometimes bea challenge -

Hey Laura I'm a month out and had severa incidents where I threw up bc I either gasped too much air while drinking or I wasn't ready for a certain food. Some weeks are better than others. What was your experience a month out. Sometimes I get frustrated. Vitamins. Sometimes its hard to get the pills down. Taking one aday, biotin and D3 -
Hi I think you have gone to the next level and graduate to this new stage of progession. I too felt just the same as you. Is been a month and one day since I had surgery and I am still learning at each stage of this lifestyle change.

Get some biotin asap.

No I am not sure she is on maternity leave but I was told by staff in the office she will be at Mercy not sure when though
-
If you get to meet her tell her Lisa G recommended her to you. Sleeved on 4/4/13.

Ursilla McMillan just left Saint Raphael's and moved to Springfield Mass. She will be working out of Mercy Hospital. She is awesome! Fixed my hernia when I had lapband. Just did my sleeve before she left. Accomplished, highly educated in her field, down to earth and easy to talk to. If you look her up you wll see for yourself. I worked at the hospital she used to work at for ten years. Doctors and nurses alike always sung her praises as well as the patients..

You can take only a multivitamin I believe
-
Congrats to you! This week I am 4 weeks out and have just began to feel better, not afraid to try to eat soft foods. Still throw up maybe once or twice a week but getting better. Hopefully, the vomitting with time. Went from 312 to 277 thus far.

Recovery isn't easy either but over time it does get better
-
As harsh as she put it I have to agree but she coulda said it a little more tactful.
-
I felt the same way

I only told my immediate family and one or two close friends. Noone really needs to know. Once they find out you will hear oh why didn't you tell me I could have helped you out.. well now you know and now is when I need you. See how many really comearund. Sometimes people thrive off of wasteful information. I can see if you told someon you are close with like your family or even a close friend who may be considering the same but again don't give people further conversation to talk about ya. They talk about you when your fat to your face orbehind your back supposedly out of concern or to make themselves feel better then when yu loose the weight they will do the same stating how hin you are and that you look sick. Trust, been there done this twice over that's why I've chosen to remain quiet.
