I'm on the north coast. Would love to participate in meetings? Had surgery 16 months ago. -
I went to pcp who is submitting to insurance for tummy tuck. Year of rashes and rx ointment documented. I'd like to lose another 13 pounds before then. What does a lbl include?

I'm we over 5'. 5'1". Your blog here is supportive. May I join the conversation? I'm 16 months out from sleeve. Lost 80 down to 145. I'm 52 yrs. dr says to get to 135 then I have 10-15 pounds of old skin that won't go away unless surgery. I have been lazy about exercise, water, protein, vits and it is catching up. All my bloodwork is fine. I have maintained for 4 months need to get serious and remember I'm not at goal yet and get moving.

I will be interested to hear some others. I have gone to a ps and she too said I need the vertical lift so it would be a complete TT since I have massive skin from childbearing to being overweight my whole life. The question I had for her never got answered. I asked, If my insurance paid for only a Panni then can I apply that to the difference. Im hoping to get an answer from my insurance company.

spiritedcowgirl63 replied to Sunshine22's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Thank you for all your responses. Im not worried about scarring and I would like to have the tummy tuck. I too see that I'm almost to goal but the skin is so much more than I expected. As if I have another 20 pounds to lose but its skin. Thanks again -

I too have had extensive scar tissue from previous surgeries. My PS wants for me to have the best results was what you had. I want to ask my insurance company BCBS is they will pay for it.. I have several visits to the doctor with extensive rashes (photos for evidence). I went to one ps and they are mostly private paid and don't want to deal with cosmetic surgery if not paying cash. Will insurance pay for the Fleur dis ? My arms are bad but my choice would be stomache with arms next in line. LOL if I had a choice. Do you have picures? I would take scars over mega saggy skin anyday.............I have lots of drooping, -

I have a huge 10 inch gb scar. Ps said the best one for me would be what sweet pea is talking about. It would get rid of the across abdominal scars and give one straight in the middle and tighting the abdominal muscles:-) hour glass figure. -
Looking to hear about good results and experiences to lower body lift in Mexico!

Tearbear- trust me...the tool does work! When your stomache says your full " you will know - an be satisfied. Some ppl say I eat like a bird. But I get full on smaller portion and don't have the desire to eat more. They are used to me eating massive unhealthy amounts. Not any more. I've lost 85# now and my desire to be a couch potato has now turned to being outdoor and enjoying life!! I like jacks saying, your not giving up food , you just eat less and have the same satisfaction as if you ate the other way. However, it took me 3-4 months for my eyes to trick my plate it was smaller. -
