Prior to getting pregnant I had been very successful with sleeve.. Had lost almost 100lbs. In the beginning of my pregnancy, I felt the restriction prior to getting pregnant, but I noticed I was getting hungry a lot quicker. Now at 7 1/2 months pregnant I feel like there isn't much restriction at all. I don't know if its my body making sure I am getting the proper calories I need for the baby at this time or if I should contact my surgeon about an issue with my surgery. I think I read previously that people have had less restriction while pregnant, and once the pregnancy it goes back to how it was. Help.. kinda freaking out... I hate gaining the weight and now I'm nervous there could be something wrong

Hello I was sleeved in May of 2013... Lost 85 pounds the first 3.5 months .... Have been kinda stuck since October or so ... I don't know why I can't find the motivation to go to the gym even though I wants to lose another 90 pounds ... I have snacking and eating some stuff I don't shouldn't be... So I know why I haven't lost any weight. I'm wondering the best way to start over... Should I start the food stages over again? Yes I know the gym is a big part of it... But I'm interested in the best way to Deal with the food ... I feel hungry like I did pre surgery ... But obviously I eat a lot less when I do eat the junk.. Thank you for any help

Hi .. I'm 24 and was sleeved on 5/6. Down 46 pounds so far ! Have never felt better and by far the best decisions I have ever made ! Changes everything

Hi all.. I was sleeved may 6th.. It took me about a week after the surgery to go to the bathroom... And for a couple weeks it was everyday. But over the last month it's seems to be getting fewer and farther inbetween. My fluids were low.. I was getting about 40 hours when I was suppose to be getting. 64. Over the last week I have really made a conscious effort and got the 64 ounces down but nothing has happened with bathroom issue. After surgery I took miralax. And it took me the week to go. Should I keep waiting for the fluids to. Kick in or try milk of magnesia..or is it something I should be calling dr about Thanks

Hi... I'm 2 months out at 46 pound down... I just recently saw turkey Jerky in the store ... The nutrition seems pretty good .. In 1 Oz there is 13 grams of Protein and less then a gram of fat. I've tolerated any food I've tried.. And just curious is this is a good snack or Not Thanks

Just had my surgery on Monday the 6th... I had a schedule from then nutritionist of what to eat and drink and when ...I tried following it the first day home and ended up in severe pain from apparently trying to drink to much to soon . I can hardly finish one Protein drink a day..,and not Because of taste. Any one else having this issue and is it ok ?

Exact thing last week when I was sleeved. Your stomach is just swollen ,., the majority of mine we away my third day home as was able to drink 3 shakes a day . Just sip slow and stop when it hurts !

When I called the doctor about the stomach pains ... They said stomach may still be swollen and you may be drinking to much to soon

I was sleeved on the 6th. My discharge nurse and papers told me to weigh myself everyday. Since last Monday I've lost 12 pounds.. Which I am happy with!! today when I weighed myself I didn't lose any. Should I be concerned.... A couple of my friends told me not to worry about it .. But I just think with the sleeve I shouldn't of hit a day where I didn't lose any yet ! ??

Thank you all... I think the numbers game is going to drive me crazy ! But each day I notice a little difference in my self .... I will use this as my motivation now more than the numbers each morning ! ... At least I will try !

Same here !! Was a little nervous about how little i could drink ! But seems to be good since day 3 for me !

I guess the stomach swelling finally went down ... Finally getting 3 protein drinks a day Down with out pain

Just got my sleeve on the 6th.... Just curious how long it takes for bowel movements to start back up again

Tried the miralax .... No luck yet... Don't know how long to wait before I call dr

Walking really does wonders ! I had the worst chest pain from the gas ... I walked 1 1/2 after getting to my room to start working on getting rid of it....was gone by the next day... Still have some belly pain when I drink my shakes to fast !

Yes... I never took a nap.. I find myself taking at least one sometimes two a day. I was sleeves in the 6th !

I was banded on 5/6 and have been pretty lucky with the pain. Had awful gas chest pain immediately after the surgery...e But I just kept reminding myself how important it is to Walk and it was gone by that night. The last couple days when I have woke up and see the weight has gone down..it's almost shocking. It is still so weird to me that I have gotten this surgery and am on my way to being skinnier and healthier. The skinny truth is starting to set in and is kinda freaking me out... Especially after I received the first .. You can tell you're losing weight ..today (lost 6 from surgery so far but 16 including pre op Liquid) Such a weird feeling that I will Not not be a chubby for forever any more .... That's all I've known for so long !

Thank you ! Yes trying to stay away from the meds as much as I can ! ... Will look into the milk of magnesia ...
