Hello all, In your new spirit of nice posting, I will keep this nice. I know many of you sent me information and helped me greatly, thank you. I have been keeping track of our friend AnnMarie Tiesi. She now has a subsidiary of Belighter that does plastic surgery and she pictures herself all over it in her underwear. Access through Belighter.com. For those of you disgruntled with Belighter, this may be the reason you never get calls returned. She is too busy with her next project to help those that paid her money. Also, her husband Eric is still sending threats to me. If they come true, I'll have no eyes and be fat. Nice way to run a business huh? Shelley, I had surgery with Dr. Lopez 6 weeks ago. I know a few people that weren't happy with on this board but my surgery went well and his patient coordinators are very nice. Evidently, he has changed much of his staff over the last few months and everyone is now like family. I get all my questions answered the same day, which I know was a big complaint before. My mother is having surgery with him this month because of his seminar price. She saves, or I save $1000 if she has surgery in March. He has a coordinator in Portland Oregon that I worked with. She said she has a few fill doctors to choose from and they have different prices and offer different things. They set you up with a fill doc ahead of time so you don't have to hunt after. You can get her number off the www.golapband.com web site. Her name is Anita. My only warning about Tijuana is that many doctors lower prices and you do get what you pay for in some cases. Go with someone well known. As always, and I think most here would agree, avoid third party brokers for surgery. Best wishes to you in your endevour. Teresa and all , Better make up your mind. If it is sold, why is the address and phone the same? Is the business now licensed in Ontario, California where Shelly Supan lives? California laws govern differently than Nevada. Everyone can now sue Shelly instead of AnnMarie. Really you can do both. Sheely assumed the debts of her new company(if she bought it) and all liability. What is that saying? "Two is better than one". For you Teresa, if you have a gripe you can't do anything but gripe, but if they lied or harmed you or harrass you, you can do a lot. I see you are in Oregon. Oregon law is on your side against her company. Oregon has many new laws that protect the consumer against companies and people like this. I suggest everyone call the Nevada Business Division, the better business bureau(they are not members) and they will direct your complaint to the division that protects consumers. It just seems these many complaints should be resolved or the company should accept responsibility. Lastly, I received a copy of a letter saying AnnMarie was retiring to spend time with her family. If allowed by he moderators, I will cut out sections with regard to persons involved and forward it on. Brad

Hello all, I just wanted to let you know that I saw a hair specialist and she sadi to only get 100% of my vit. A at most, too much can increase hair loss after surgery. Just thought I would let you all know. Also liquid Vitamins are great but spray vitamins are not as effective because absorption doesn't occur in the mouth. Vitamist is not a good product if you need more than 30-40% of what you take and why else would you take them? I just wanted to avoid hair loss and checked it out. If you hear differently, let me know. Brad

For those of you interested I saw on Bandsters and Mexicanbandsters that Dr. Lopez has dumped Belighter. Seems like your suit (Teresa) should get started soon. I know of others that have looked into starting suits. I bet they are out of business within two months. If Eric and AnnMarie are watching this...threaten me some more. I need more evidence. Brad

Hi LegallyBlond and Diane, Legally Blond, Diane said it. Call her or Anita about fill appointments and they can get you scheduled. It is so much easier calling the US to get appointments scheduled. Since you went through Belighter, they should help you but then again they didn't make anything off you did they. It should be about caring and thoughtfulness. I have had calls already and I have been home one day. I was also faxed some information(nutrition) that I left at the hospital. Patient coordinators are great when they care and it isn't about commisiion. I felt they were concerned for my health and well being first. Sure they didn't go to the hospital with me but they called and called my family and relayed messages. That takes more time and is so much more important than holding my hand. They held my wife's hand and really relaxed her and my three daughters. Sure, now Mr. Tiesi will probably threaten to come after my daughters. I am tired of threats and Belighter. Know you always have surgeon aftercare and call Anita or Diane for help. I posted both numbers earlier for you. Best of luck. Diane and Anita, Thanks for your help. LaMadame, I have done much investigation behind Belighter and AnnMarie and Eric Tiesi. Any person can pay and run criminal history checks on anyone else with a little information. Anyone can also phone people and inquire and have many people send them the threats they have received. As of one week ago, they had a business license in default status and gave an excuse that the attorney didn't do something. I have spoken to Inamed and showed the documents that AnnMarie said qualified her to do fills, which shows she attended a support seminar. As far as her training from Dr. Sanchez for both her and Eric, I wouldn't trust them to do anything. I have received many threats but know two people that receive threats, many per week sometimes. The threats are minor to violent. I didn't use them and went directly through Lopez's office with Diane and Anita. If your friend paid, but was guaranteed that surgeon, she can sue to get her money back. If she wants Dr. Lopez, have her call Anita or Diane. It is cheaper and they do everything for you. They can calm you before surgery and have experienced what bandsters go through first hand. I read back through threads and see where Teresa had an issue with Anita but I am sure it can all change. It was probably when she was with Belighter. I found her extremely honest and straight forward. Tell your friend to get out from being with Belighter. Brad

Hello all... I am new here and have been researching Belighter. Not to use them for my surgery, which I am one day out, but to research the owners wh have been threatening me. I know some of the people some of you have been talking about and before I would say they were die hard fans, I would check restraining orders and pendng law suits again Belighter. Some of the "die hards" were trying to get out without being threatened, having family threatened, or quietly. If your going to file suit, do it soon before the ship sinks. if you used them, go to the surgeon for aftercare. My coordinators have me all set up for aftercare and did so before surgery. I have posted many times on bandsters and mexicanbandsters, check the posts. I just want everyone to know to act quick if they are going to act. Teresa, the post you referred to was sent to bandsters and mexicanbandsters. Anita is a nice, honest person. Just didn't work well with Belighters ethics. i spoke to her when she was with Belighter and when she left heard horrible things from AnnMarie about her. I have talked to her since and her heart is in the right place. She might be able to help you. I think she knows a lot of information. Best of luck to all of you.
