I had my 3rd fill on Thursday. By the time I got home I was in alot of port specific pain. The one thing I did do that was not recommended was have a Protein bar when I should of been on mushies. When I eat, it hurts. When I move around, it hurts. I am not feeling sick to my stomach or like I am going to vomit. Its all very specific in the area where it hurts and continues on, each day. I am taking tylenol but when it wears off it hurts. One other thing is that my port is sticking way out, bulging. And when I pushed on it gently on Friday it moved. Swallowing doesnt bother me at all, its after I swallow and the food is in my stomach that it hurts. I kept waking up last night because I sleep on my stomach and the pain was enough to wake me up. The injection site does not feel warm to the touch. Right now I touched around where the port is underneath my skin and it hurts, but it doesnt hurt right away, its kind of 2 second delayed. What is going on? I have no idea and googling has not had many results. Thanks, Rose

Night time is tough for me too. Last night I ate an entire grapefruit, a bag of microwave popcorn with Ranch popcorn topping and a can of Amy's chili. That was dinner/snack and I was up till 4am. Whenever I start to feel hungry, I grab popcorn. I have had 1 fill so far, so I am not at my sweet spot, yet. This morning, after I had 2 pieces of turkey bacon and two eggs, I was still hungry so I ate a bag of popcorn. It is not the best idea in the world but its the low cal food that fills me up. Hello, I was banded November 7th. I have had one fill and my next one is Feb. 1st. Which seems like a long time to get a fill. I understand my surgeon is booked up, I am going to call to see if he has any last minute cancellations. Its going okay. I went from 215 to 207-208, I have lost inches more then pounds I think. I have been working out atleast 3x a week and hope to bump it up to 4. I am letting the slender me out, Rose

I had my 'last' dinner. I bought a Tanita scale, Protein drinks, broth. I have been looking for a little immersion blender kinda thing but no luck yet. Something less then 50.00 I started this process a few years ago and then talked myself out of it. After having jaw surgery in April, I realized that I shouldn't be afraid. I am in good hands. The surgery will go great. I am afraid. I think I need to find a new therapist, someone who has experience with food disorders. I am an emotional eater. I want to be brave and funny and I am really scared. I don't want to hurt. I don't want to feel I am doing this for vanity. I can barely walk my back is so messed up and my belly -- where I carry most of my excess makes me look 6 months pregnant. For health and longevity, Rose

Hello! I am happy to announce that I got my pre-approval letter, it was sent on 9/11! I have been calling Barix of Ypsilanti to get to the scheduling part. No dice yet. I have been having this horrible chest pain and trouble breathing. Went to E.R. it isn't my heart. They think its pleurisy. I was born with a hiatal hernia. Right now it is really sticking out. I grew up outside of Gregory. Or rather the first 9 years now. I am in Ann Arbor. Going through the Barix hospital in Ypsilanti. I am hoping to have the surgery within a month. Let's get together sometime! Rose
