Help i have stopped losing weight

I am using an app on my iPhone called lose it. I live it, I switched to that from my fitness pal. That was great to but this s anther option to use to trak food. It actually has a scanner,So you can scan the barcode on packaged food and it will and it to you daily food intake. -
I'm just 3 weeks out, if I gulp anything it hurts! I get to much air and my stomach lets me know it. I personally like the camelback bottles with the attached spout I'd guess you call it. Someone from this site recommended that I try it. I can now get anywhere from 64 -96oz in a day. (32oz bottle)

Ill have to ask my doctor about the carb thing. I was really tired the first few days, but after like day 5 I have been fine. I swear I can't sleep at all at night. I just took Benadryl to hopefully fall asleep at a normal hour. I'm up and moving sound like usual. I went school shopping for my kids today for 3 hours, then took my daughter to a horse farm and walked all over. What type of vitamins are you taking? My only thing is my left side above my incision where she cut through the stomach muscle is still killing me. Every now and then I ave to take a muscle relaxer if I over do it with activity. It's hard I forget I had surgery so I catch myself picking stuff up that I'm not suppose to or bending the wrong way and I get a sharp pain. I hope you get your energy back soon!

I was on the 15. Yesterday was the first day I could actually get down a full protein shake. I was also advanced to soft foods as tolerated. I still have pain around large incision and the bruising is almost gone, and honestly I feel pretty good! My goal today is to get in all my protein and my water!!

I can't wait to try fish or chicken. I figured a meatball was already pretty mushy! I'll try the chicken salad in the bullet as well, still kind of nervous about the chunks. When your full, do you actually feel full like before surgery, or is it something else letting you know enough? I have not felt full, but I get bubbles in my stomach, if I take another bite after that I get a little pain. Do you get that ever?

I think it all depends on how your body heals and your doctors rules. I originally wasn't suppose to start solid foods for another 3 weeks. Today he told me to start puréed and gradually start soft food. I was shocked how quick he pushed me along. I tried an egg was good. Had a meatball was fine. I actually feel better today then I have all week!
-
Well if it makes you feel any better, I saw my doctor today and he said to start purée food today and gradually move to soft food by this weekend or by next Monday. Well for Breakfast I had a scrambled egg, and for dinner I ate a meatball! There was NO pureeing involved! He told me that the two stages are basically the same and just to make sure that I chew all food very good so it was the consistency of applesauce. Yup I did it.. I broke the rules..

Oh yeah.. Down 10 pounds since surgery on the 15. Total of 26 since my very first weigh in on may 2.

I just left my one week post op, my doctor told me to start puréed food tomorrow then after in week I can go to soft foods if I can tolerate them! My original post op diet had me on mushy food for 3 weeks. I'm excited!

Restless legs after surgery?
ca530 replied to julia7665's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was just telling my sister who's an anesthesiologist about the restless leg and arms last night. She told me its common to have after surgery because of the pain meds. also said probably gonna have some crazy dreams. I don't know if your still taking any but I taking toradol and flexeral. Needless to say after last night I'm going 100% Tylenol! Hope this helps.. -
I just ordered 2 sample packs! Never new that site existed! Thank you!

3rd day post op.....taking 4 hours to drink 11 ounces
ca530 replied to AnnMarie1957's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I can only drink about 2 oz of premiere protein in an hour. I pour a 4 oz glass and sip it until its gone for Breakfast. Then just try to get in water. I'm 6 days post op and its hard getting in anything! A few sip in 30 min is fine. They told me to try a ounce every 15 min. I have to work at it, but can do it. Good luck to you! -

It's funny you mention this today.. I had restless legs and I swear it was In my arms too last night! It was awful! I was up all night stretching and tightening my arms and legs, it was driving me insane!! I have no clue where it came from or why! -
I like premiere protein shakes in chocolate. I think they taste like a fudgecicle. They have 160 calories and 30 grams of protein. I drank them pre-op and just started the full liquid stage of post op and they are still really good! If you have a BJ's or Sam's club where you live you can get a case of 12 for 17.99. Good luck to you!!

I don't even think I'm getting in 40! I think I'm still around 30. I'm trying but it is really hard to get all that liquid down! I'm gonna focus on nothing but one. 33oz Water bottle and an 11 oz Protein shake tomorrow. Then see what else I can get in! Never thought that 2oz of Jello would be to much for me to eat! -
