sess replied to MsVictorious1020's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
That's great I love u have courage to tell us that! I'm only 2 weeks out and when my hubby and I have sex it's quick yep right get off kind of thing, because of my weight!! But I can't wait to get really into it once I look amazing! I have a question tho since ur had surgery a while back.. What happens with the excess skin? I was 104 post op and in 2 weeks down to 92 and worried about my skin? -
What did it feel like when you woke up from surgery?
sess replied to BriDawn's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I agree everyone is completely different! i woke up and I wasn't in pain I was dry in the mouth and wanted to drink but I wasn't aloud the first day so the nurse gave me mouth swabs to put little bits of water in my mouth. But I was exstreamly sleepy I keep falling to sleep on my family when they came to visit. The only uncomfortable thing for me was the oxygen in my nose and everytime i would fall asleep blood pressure on my arm would start up again! I was a little hot and had a slight ache In my left should. Part from that recovery was fine its now that I'm home it's harder and I do get depressed sometime and regret the surgery! I try to have good days I'm 2weeks out today and I know it was for the best all the best -
The office said if I can't get enough water down I will have to be put back in hospital on an Iv drip, they said my vomiting maybe a reaction to the somac or the vitiams so they will try me on something else today. I had the best day yest best one since surgery I'm 2 weeks out today! I only drank 4 cups of water! The office also told me to concentrate on the water over eating mixing it with squeezed lemon or orange so I have that a try went down much better and if I can drink a litre or close to then she thinks I will b ok and not to dehydrated. Hope ur ok. I know how u feel I have bad days every day until I had 1 good day yestursday! It's so hard I always think I wish I was normal again. Or if I could of just done a healthy diet but I know long term will b amazing

I hope it gets better in time., how long since u had surgery? I had a good day today managed to get in the most amount of water 4 1/2 cups and managed to eat some chicken and corn soup. Def and good day! I rang my doctor and they think it maybe the somac or vitamins making me feel weak and vomiting, so tomoz I start on new meds! But today had no somac/ vitiams and feel so much better in my self I even managed to go to work for 5hrs -
Jmbaker: I am the same I'm ringing the office today to see what the go Is I can't even keep a glass of water down or food they last couple of days have been hell for me hope it gets better I'm also worried in dehydrated

I'm 11 days out, I feel very weak and light headed, I have been sip sip sipping but not sure if I'm having enough.. I feel so thirsty and my mouth is so dry. I have been sucking on hydralite ice blocks, and ice it seem to be helping. How do I know if I need to go back on Iv drip to re hydrate me ?
