hi! I live in Israel, so all of the issues with insurance is quite difference as we have a wonderful socialized medicine system. If you qualify medically, everything is covered. I chose my physician based on his excellent reputation and exactly one week post-op I feel wonderful and am down 11 pounds! Hope to continue this way.
The theory about food here is also quite different. Low-fat and powders and and protein shakes are discouraged and only real food in its natural form allowed, so I have been following along with other people's stories, but as far as actual food intake, it is harder to compare.
