Oh... of course... he informed me that all his clothes are already packed!! He says he can put 12 sets of underwear in the RV and still have enough for the next three weeks... doing laundry every few days! I'm happy for him. I can't give him my clothes 3 weeks ahead of time! Sorry! He took my jackets the other day... I think he said I could have TWO!! Well, that will change because he is counting dress jackets.. like blazer, etc. types. That is NOT outerwear! I'm supposed to give him purses next and I'm allowed SIX! So I have to think about that a while. He claims I have 45! Whatever! I haven't mailed your SF White Choc powder yet.. and Earl put it in the car to take to the RV. Is it okay if I just bring it with me?? And I didn't mail your check yet but haven't forgotten. Need to go online and transfer money from savings to checking in my Palm Desert "mad money" account. Said I'd pay out of that to calm Earl down. He is all hyper about the cost of gas for this long trip (6500 miles) plus pay our space rent in Sept, too. It's really NOT a problem, but since he thinks it is.. just best to placate him any way I can. Will get your check in the mail for Vegas ASAP! PT was fine... they keep adding stuff and this was the Non-pool day, so it was tough! I needed heating pad for 10 minutes when I was done! I've taken Zoey on one walk around the complex so far and will take her again later, once or twice around depending on how my back feels. And my knee... when I was finished today, right knee was bothering me and almost caved in once. Can't push things too hard. Good for you going to the gym that early! I had to be there at 9 a.m. but if I didn't have that appt, I would've been procrastinating! I guess I won't get there tomorrow because we're taking a little day trip with Tracy and Jim over to his Mom's other house across the sound in Bremerton. We've never seen it and they've been trying to get us over there since we got home. So.. nothing on our agenda tomorrow so we're going to go with them. It's supposed to be a real nice day. Geez!! Sniper shooting and lock down!! Scary stuff!! Elvis festival... wow! Brings back GREAT memories of that fun weekend last year!! Puppy race sounds fun! Zoey would be good at that. She can really run fast!! You should've seen her last night! I was sitting outside with her after a walk when Earl got back from the hot tub. So he takes her off the leash and gets one of her balls and starts playing fetch with her. She had an absolute blast.. She'd go chase the ball, then toss it around a little, run circles around it, bark at it, then finally she'd bring it back to him and they'd do it all over again! So after about 15 minutes of that, all of a sudden she takes off across the grass around the corner of the next building! Earl is in pajama pants and no shoes! I CAN'T run, and I'm not the one who let her loose!! Besides that, I'm talking on the phone to my sister in OR! So he goes in and grabs his Crocs and takes off, shirtless and in his PJ pants to chase her down! I think she was two buildings down before he caught her! He is always kissing on her and telling her how sweet she is, etc., but when she does something bad she's MY dog!! LOL! Like today he claims she woke him up licking his face. Well, she's in a cage on the nightstand next to his pillow and I made sure the door was latched when I went to bed. So the only way she could be licking his face is if HE let her out of the crate!! He takes her out and feeds her breakfast when he gets up... 5-5:30 a.m. usually. Then he puts her back in bed with me. She kisses my face at first, but then she goes back to sleep and she doesn't bother me until she sees me take the CPAP mask off my face and turn the machine off. Then she wants snuggles. She is such a good dog! Even if she did wound a couple of groomers and get banned from Petsmart!! LOL -
Hugs to everyone today! Apples... we will miss you! Lori, as I said on FB... dealing with that humidity in TX in July!! Don't think I could. We lived over 15 yrs in OK, but not so much humidity there. We often went to TX in the spring and it was bad enough then.. and sometimes the mosquitoes would eat you alive! Julie... glad you're feeling better about that Dr's letter today, but I'd have a hard time dropping it. I think I'd ask for an appt to talk it over. I would need to know what precipitated the decision to drop me as a patient! Yeah, water aerobics is the BEST! Right now I'm on PT for my back. We were doing 2X a week in the pool, but now just 1X and 1X other exercises... exercise ball, etc. for an hour. It's very good. And then I go another 1-2X to the gym to do weight machines and recumbent bike. We'll be leaving in a few weeks for the winter.... yeah, it's EARLY, but going back east for a family wedding first. And, YES, Janet... Earl is already packing and bugging me every day! Tomorrow my assignment is purses and he says I'm allowed SIX. He claims there are 45 back in our bedroom! Arlene, I hope Bonnie misses you!! Yeah... and when the Lucky 7's got together this month she threw away a BIRTHDAY CAKE!! GRRRRR!! LOL! Gwen... you are a fun addition to this thread! I love your sense of humor! BTW... you are a 60+, right?? There is a thread for 60+... though not very active. But you might check it out, too. I had one knee done last summer.. the end of August. Lori had both hers done... a couple of months apart, as I remember. I need to have my other one done... had a partial on it about 5 or so years ago, but ortho doc says hardware is failing and it needs to be converted to a total. Might do that in the spring. Pain was not horrible!! I only cried a few times!!:w00t::biggrin::w00t::biggrin: For the most part, it was manageable. I had an electric ice pack and took pain pills for a couple of weeks. PT came to the house for the first couple of weeks, then I went to a place in the neighborhood. I was walking 1/2 mile within a couple of weeks. Walker... then cane for a while. It is really nice to be so much more mobile than I was last summer!!

Good Morning! Have PT at 9 a.m. Back feels okay today... so far! Very cloudy, chilly morning and barely 60 degrees with a high of 69 forecast. But... high 70's tomorrow and 80's on the weekend. We'll see. I don't think we've yet hit 80 this summer! Maybe once. Just had my eggbeaters omelet and coffee. Have to get ready to go soon. Zoey licking my ankles for some reason! She is all snuggly in the morning. Leave for Buffalo around Aug. 13-14. Our anniversary is the 15th... 46 years... but looks like we will be on the road. I'll work harder on my fluids today. So far a big cup of black coffee. I slept like a rock last night... so sorry you and Karla had problems sleeping! It is very frustrating when that happens. Saw a racoon run down the fence a little while ago. Not the first time, but I think it's been maybe 2 years since I saw one run down along the fence outside our window. Right after we moved in 3 yrs ago we saw 3 at a time one day. Then another time there was one... and this time only one very skinny raccoon. But I know it wasn't a cat... long striped tail and I saw it's face. Pretty unusual to see them in the daytime. Yep--chair on the deck and a good book! You deserve a rest! -

Ah.... exercise.. I think I overdid it yesterday. Did about 10 wgt machines and 20 minutes on the bike. Then while Earl was at the hot tub last night I did some of my PT exercises on the floor... Then I couldn't get up!!:tongue2: Hurts to roll over on to my knees... but it was either do it or wait there until Earl gt back. At any rate... my back has been hurting today. Had to be at hospital this morning at 8:20 a.m. for mammo. Was back home before 9 a.m. Zoey and I took about a 2 hr ride around the neighborhood. Got some salad mix, Lean Cuisines... on sale $1.88, alaska cod and shrimp on 1/2 price sale. So had shrimp salad when I got back. I don't even know what I did the rest of the day, except Zoey and I went to City Hall to get pet licenses for her and Candy since we're now in Lake Stevens. And we watched a couple of episodes of Judge Judy when we got back. Zoey laid around all day to the point I was getting concerned about her. She was too content to sleep on my lap, in her bed, etc. Then about 6pm she came to life and all hell broke loose! Earl walked her around once, then I walked her around, then we played with her outside for quite a while. Earl let her off the leash and started tossing her ball. She was racing around the yard like a crazy nut, barking at the ball and attacking it and brining it back and doing it all over agin.. finally we came in, but she kept wanting to go in and out and in and out until I finally walked her around the condo one more time. Now she's finally tired out. Stretched out on the carpet sleeping! Restriction is pretty good. But I'm having trouble getting my fluids in between meals. Hope my back is feeling better by tomorrow... have PT at 9 a.m. Right this minute.... it'd be a bit of a challenge! think I need to take some ibuprofen! And Earl just made me a cup of tea. Karla... glad to hear the deck is done! And that you got some help with it! -
Congrats to you, too, Laura!!
-
Wow! A travel agent in our midst!! That's great! I had my left knee done last August and need right one done, too. Maybe next year. Right now... it seems like it was a breeze! Because it was almost a year ago! But I did do pretty good. I think I was walking 1/2 mile in 3 weeks. BTW... we are "snowbirds".... condo in WA state, and we RV in CA in the winter.
-
HAHA!! Yeah... we in the "Lucky 7's" have talked about that! When we first met at Mall of America 2 yrs ago... none of us had met personally.. but felt like we'd known each other forever. But we joked.... whew!! No "Axe Murderers"!! LOL This year there were 2 I'd not yet met... but after all our online sharing... already "know" each other quite well! Already a connection even though never meeting personally.

HAHA!! Took me a while to figure out all the lingo, too! Us more mature types have to constantly stay alert to the new acronyms!! :biggrin:The Vegas thing... don't know how many are coming or what the room situation is, but you are certainly welcome if you can make it.. Oct 1/2/3 I believe are the dates. We are staying at the Desert Rose. Individuals are booking their own rooms and pairing up with others. Just got back from the gym... 2 days in a row.... yay, me!! Today is my 3 yr "Bandiversary"! Yay, me!! I did about 8 or 10 weight machines.. legs, arms. Then rode the bike for 20 minutes. DD showed up on the bike next to me a few minutes after I got started, but she was doing 30 minutes. I was tired after 20 so I quit. Have mammo early tomorrow morning, and my intentions are to take my gym stuff and go there afterward. I won't do the weight machines 2 days in a row, so I'll just ride the bike tomorrow. Had to take the puppy for a scooter ride when I got back from the gym. She was so excited to see me on the scooter... so I made a couple of rounds of the condo parking lot! She already had a 3 mile ride this morning down to the lake and back. Last stretch we do down Safeway shopping center. About the time we pass Sports Authority, she knows we're getting close to my latte place! She loves the attention she gets there, and the doggy treats!! So she gets all excited... standing up in the scooter basket and wiggling all over the place and wagging her tail! Her favorite barista was working today.... Ashley! Ashley has to come out of the shack and let her lick her face and neck! Then the owner stopped by and she LOVES her too, so she got in some more licks! I make her "SIT" for her treats. But she gets so excited over there she gets mixed up between "sit" and "down"!! But she's trying so hard to please that I give her the treats anyway!! ..... Jodi, I am so sorry you had to put your furry down. That is so sad. But you gave her 6 more years! That's awesome.

Well, Steph...I don't know what to say! Here's my contribution.... tongue in cheek! A real man is a woman's best friend. He will never stand her up and never let her down. He will reassure her when she feels insecure and comfort her after a bad day. He will inspire her to do things she never thought she could do; to live without fear and forget regret. He will enable her to express her deepest emotions and give in to her most intimate desires. He will make sure she always feels as though she's the most beautiful woman in the room and will enable her to be the most confident, sexy, seductive, and invincible. No wait... sorry... I'm thinking of wine. Never mind. -
I would love to travel more, but flying is such a hassle these days! I do love to travel in the RV and so glad I talked DH in to driving back east this summer, and then down to OK to visit friends before we go to CA! Really enjoy it! And I LOVE to travel by train! Yeah... lifting babies!! Ten years ago next month, our grandson, Cody was born in OK where we were living at the time. He soon was a very chubby baby. I weighed over 300 lb at the time. I was so limited as to how long I could carry him... my physical limitations and his weight!! When he was 8 mos old, I can remember having to sit him down in the grass occasionally, because I couldn't carry him any longer! I had a very busy morning/early afternoon!! TOPS ("turtled"... no change from last week), PT in the pool + 20 minutes on bike after that. Then I had to take my puppy for a scooter ride! She counts on that! OMG... I love that puppy SO much! What a joy she is! She really isn't a "piranha", despite her bad reputation from the groomer experiences last weekend! She LOVES to ride in my scooter basket, so I have to take her with me when I go to get my daily coffee treat! She loves to go there.. there are about 4 gals that work there, but she has a favorite (Ashley) and she was there today so she got so excited to see her. And then she gets treats there... but I make her "SIT" to get them... for some reason, she is so excited over there that she gets "Sit" and "Down" all mixed up! But... I cave in and giver her a treat if she does one or the other! Probably bad! I break the treats in to about 5 pieces because they are so big and she is so small! I get a good brisk walk with her every day... around the condo complex... one round + 1/4 mile and we usually do 2X around.. with me practically running because she is leaping and running! Really enjoying Laura's vacation pictures! Looks like a wonderful adventure, and great weather! Can't get over how TALL Nelson is looking.. !! Did he have a growth spurt or what!! Lori... yep-- your trips will be mostly to Denver in the not too distant future, so go wherever you can in the meantime!! LOL

Yeah... out and about all the day long until after 2pm!! TOPS (turtled--no change), then PT--1 hr work out in pool, then went upstairs and did 20 minutes on bike. So.. with shower, etc., I was there 2 hrs. Oh... and Earl couldn't break Zoey's heart, so he told me to take her in scooter basket again and he met me there and took her home! So pathetic! I stopped at Subway after TOPS for breakfast because Tracy & Jim told me they have 150 calorie breakfast sandwiches. So I checked it out.. they have several breakfast items that are 150-175 calories. I had a ham and cheese and egg muffin (on an English muffin). Should've only eaten 1/2 the muffin. Calories were okay, but a little uncomfortable because of the bread, so if I do that again, I'll just eat 1/2 the muffin. So... got home from all that after 1 pm and Zoey wanted another scooter ride and I hadn't had my latte yet... so we went to Surf Shack, cruised around Target and went to Albertson's for a lottery ticket... don't tell Earl!! Hadn't had lunch yet and was really hungry because it ws after 2pm by then...so had 1 30 calorie rye crisp cracker w/some of that cheese you guys bought on top, and some of Candice's hummus, and some smoked salmon on top. Then... Judge Judy and some wine. Earl is fixing himself some sort of turkey pot pie or something... left over turkey he found in the freezer, peas, mushroom soup and I don't know what else, but i'm eating the rest of my spaghetti and 1/2 italian sausage when I'm ready.. but not yet! I think Tracy & Jim are headed this way for a short visit. They were over the mountains today looking at houses.. might buy a 2nd house over there where they actually have summer! -

Here I am! it's just been a busy day. Church, lunch w/Tracy & Jim. Crated Zoey while we were gone, so she was ready to go for a scooter ride when I got back. She's getting pretty hilarious about that.. expects it, almost demands it! Pretty funny. So... off we went for over an hour. Hit all the stores except for Target. Safeway, Bartels, Riteaid, Albertson's, Dollar Store, Hagen's!! Only bought two things at the $$ store... don't laugh... baby wipes for Zoey and a little baby blanket for her small carrier! Pathetic, huh!! LOl! So... lets see... what came after that. I think I played Solitaire on the computer while I had some annoying phone calls. Then cooked some spinach... w/garlic, onion, mushrooms, a little EVOO, white balsamic vinegar and a pkg of Splenda, a little fresh ground pepper. It was pretty good. Earl had halibut in the oven while I did the spinach. After we ate... Zoey was all wired. We're working on the training! She seem sot think if we eat, she should eat. Sits at my feet barking for a treat. So we put an end to that and she sat quietly between us while we ate. But, like I say... she was wired, so when we were done I took her for a walk.. she dragged me twice around the condo. Came home soaking wet w/sweat and worn out! That's the fastest I've walked in a LONG time!! HAHA!! She was running and leaping and jumping! So after twice around, I brought her back and told Earl he needed to take her around a couple of times, too. So he went once! Then my neighbor, Kim wanted to take her. But she said she made it just past our car and planted her butt on the asphalt and refused to go any further. Said she kept looking up at her and looking back towards the condo, and finally decided she wasn't going any further with Kim! So, I let her play around while I talked to the neighbors outside for a while. Then Earl came back out and walked her around one more time. When we came back in, she was still acting like a crazy nut! Earl went to the hot tub and I played catch with Zoey for at least 1/2 hour. She finally tired out! So... I probably spent at least 3 hrs with dog activity today! Food.... eggbeater omelet for Breakfast, and about 3 bites of pancake...Earl made himself raspberry pancakes, so he gave me a small piece of his. Lunch... we went to an Italian place. I had 1/2 of an Italian sausage and about 1 cup spaghetti w/tomato sauce, and a small cup of minestrone Soup. Small shrimp cocktail w/fresh spinach mid-afternoon w/glass of wine. Spinach &halibut dinner, Skinny cow later. One 30 cal cracker w/smoked salmon and a little cheese. Tired...need to go to bed soon. TOPS in a.m., then pool PT right after that. Then I'll have to come home and take Zoey for her ride over to Surf Shack before I have lunch. -

We are very proud of you, too! You are an inspiration! Your before/after photos are AMAZING!! Yeah, I might have to get that book, too. Glad to hear Sydney is plugging along. I tried to have my latte iced last week... actually, "blended", but I just don't like them cold. Doesn't taste the same to me. And I don't like it when I have all that foam left in the bottom. So I'm back to hot now. Rainier cherries are on sale at one of our local grocery stores for $2.99/lb. this week, so I bought some for Earl. Well... Zoey looks better, but not exactly stunning because the groomer really couldn't do a thorough job. If you saw my FB post... it was not a happy experience!! Dropped her off at Petsmart a little after 9 a.m. About 11 a.m., we're at our Primetimer's breakfast and it's really quiet, even though there are about 60 people there, because someone just started praying for someone who is sick. So my phone is yelling, "YOUR PHONE IS RINGING"!! It was Petsmart calling to tell me they were not going to be able to groom Zoey because she bit one of the groomers and drew blood! So, "do you want us to give her a bath"?? So I said yes. Then they call back 1/2 hr later to say she's ready to be picked up! We were totally frustrated. Talking to a lady who was sitting across from us at breakfast, she told us about a groomer she's been taking her dog to for a long time. So I used my Blackberry to look up the phone number on the internet and called the lady. I told her exactly what happened at Petsmart and that we were on our way to go pick her up and did she think she might want to try grooming her. So she told us to bring her over right away. Asked her about sedating her and she thought it might be a good idea. So we picked her up, stopped home and gave her a piece of one of the pills they gave us last week and took her to this other lady. This time we both stayed there with her and Earl hoped the lady restrain her. She ended up biting both of them, but the lady got real tough with her then and kept a firm grip on the back of her neck so she couldn't bite them and she was able to clean her up pretty good. One thing she told us is 6 mos old is way too long to wait to start grooming... which of course was out of our control since we just got her. But she cleaned up her face real good, and her bottom, and used the electric shears to give her an overall trim. She hated having the long fur around her paws trimmed almost as much as she hated having her face trimmed. She was yelping and crying and struggling to get away. She was really petrified of the whole process. So now I'm afraid Tracy and Jim think she's a monster dog that shouldn't be around kids! I have her in several stores EVERY day and she LOVES kids and has never gotten nasty with anyone when we're out and about. Once she sort of snapped at a neighbor, but she picked her up weird. And she doesn't like to have her face messed with. But she's really a sweet dog. I'm not sure they're even going to let her play with Gigi anymore and they love to play together. Frustrating day! But we'll definitely be taking her back to that groomer. She said it would be better next time. And... after all that, she asks me if $25 is okay???!! Good grief! I said that was more than okay and wrote her a check for $30.. should've given her more! -
You bet... it's called "JEALOUS"!! LOL Glad you let it roll off your back! Ask "Peaches" what some idiot said to her this week!!! When someone cuts you down, it's usually connected to jealousy!

Glad your posts finally worked!! Enjoyed reading about your time on Fire Island to date... especially the romantic interlude!! LOL Vegas will be fun... what is this about the John Lennon tickets??

Steph... do the "Five Day Pouch Test". Google it. Karla... I think I will make some of that chicken salad. It was very good. Sounds like a good lunch thing. So glad to hear Sydney is hanging in there. Our baby goes for a "hair do" this morning. Janet.... CONGRATS!!!:party::wink2: You are our HERO! That picture is SO impressive!! It's my favorite of all you photos. I stole it for my "Lucky 7's" picture folder. Have you posted it on FB?? -
Absolutely!! What do you think about the YMCA changing their name to "The Y"? I think it's pretty sad.... it seems obvious to me they wanted to get the "Christian" out of their name. Pathetic! YMCA

Looking forward to meeting everyone! LOL! That would be great but I doubt they'd let us get away with that!

Is that the book Oprah was talking about... Love Food God... or something like that? I looked at it in Target one day... almost bought it. I've lost the weekend weight, too, but slow going. I'm at 200 on my scale in the morning w/o clothes and hope to be under again by weigh in on Monday. Gym transition is going well. She gave me a good 1 hr workout yesterday without going upstairs to the machines. I did all the machines the day before and will probably go back today since I usually skip on the weekends. We did several exercises with the big exercise ball. I don't have one, and wouldn't be much point in buying one because way too big for the RV! But, they're good exercises... so will think about that a while! You can't deflate those things, can you?? Karla... hope the dog is okay! Keep us posted. Steph... hope things are going a little better with family stuff now! Earl is re-reading the "Dog Rules"!! LOL! He is showing it to Zoey and congratulating her for working her way through the list!! HAHAHA!! Yeah, he puts her in bed with me in the morning now! She wants to get up with him, so he takes her in the kitchen and feeds her, takes her out to potty and puts her in bed with me! That's usually about 5:30 a.m.!! She licks my face, ears, etc.... not at all freaked out by the CPAP mask! This morning she was actually walking on my face! When she finished all the kisses she curled up next to me and went back to sleep until I got up about 2 hrs later. Janet.... is Bella working her way through the list??? LOL! She is so cute! I see Karri wants a puppy!! We have a busy Saturday... drop off Zoey at Petsmart in the morning for grooming, then Primetimers once a year breakfast at a farm house out by Tracy's. Then we'll have to go back and pick up the "baby". -
Thanks! Zoey is doing great--except I almost made minced meat out of her last night... didn't know she was sleeping right under my foot rest until I started putting it down and she started yelping! She's okay, but staying away from my chair this morning! We had a brisk walk last night... twice around the condo units. And we had a couple of scooter rides. She thinks whenever I go, she goes, too. So she was getting real excited when I was getting ready to go to the gym in the morning. DH couldn't stand to disappoint her so he told me to take her with me and he'd drive over in a few minutes and pick her up!! So.... see who is in charge here??!! LOL We usually buy our salmon at Costco, too. Yesterday I bought a dozen oysters at Albertson's. They usually have good seafood, too. No.... I guess I got that at Haggen's... I think that's local. Lady told me the oysters were from Canada. Here in WA they're having a problem with "Red Tide", so no shell fish. No more seafood from the gulf. So the stores have to get whatever local seafood they can... Alaska, Canada, WA, OR. Welcome back, Jodi! We missed you! Hope you have a WONDERFUL trip! Have some escargot for me. Too funny on the gym issue!! I have my two mandatory PT days, and in between, I go because I know they're going to ask me if I've been there! I had Sprint for years, but finally got fed up with poor coverage. All our kids have AT&T, and they have a pretty good discount for retired military. Our DGD was working at one of their independent kiosks at the mall when we made the switch, so she made sure we got the best plan and arranged the discount. I've been pleased with the coverage, and as you know, we travel a lot. My phone is a Blackberry Curve. I was seriously considering getting the new iPhone because I'm due for an upgrade. But, DD#1 got one a month or so ago, and while the aps are impressive, she's not thrilled with the phone. There is the dropped call problem they keep talking about,. Kind of dumb to put the antenna around the outside of the phone where your fingers always are! And she is having problems with the volume. So I am holding off for now. Apple is supposed to make a big announcement today. A friend of mine has one of the older iPhones and she loves it. But I may be upgrading to a new Blackberry! DH started his SS at 62 because our financial advisor told is it was the smartest way to go. He told us how many years it would take to make up the difference...and I can't remember now, but it made sense to start collecting it at 62. I was already on disability c/o arthritis issues. We have a condo in WA state, a little under 1000 sq ft. That's where we are now. It works very well for us. Lots of neighbors to watch out for it while we're gone. And we have a place to call home. We'll be leaving in about a month... early this year because we're going to Buffalo NY first for a family wedding. Then we'll go down to OK... maybe talk DH in to a couple of days in Branson on the way! We lived in OK for over 15 years, so we'll stop for a few days and see friends and visit with our financial guy before we head to Desert Hot Springs. Have to be there before Oct. 1 to drive to Vegas with Janet!

What a rude thing to say! You are looking SO good! It was a pretty dumb comment! So what did SHE look like?? Can't imagine anyone saying something like that! Fill seems about right. Hunger pains gone, no PBing or reflux. Zoey is doing great. Went out with her after dinner because some neighbor kids were rolling down the hill outside our door and I knew she would love to play with them. So I let her out without her leash and sat outside watching and supervising while she played with them. Took two of her balls outside. They had a blast with her. Had to bring her in when she started running out of sight.. I kept telling them to stay where I could see them, but they got carried away with all the excitement. But she was probably out there 15-20 minutes running the whole entire time! So then I took her out and walked her.. twice around the condo complex. Wanted to tire her out. Didn't want to have to play fetch for 45 minutes again tonight! So she is zonked out behind Earl's chair. Ooops... she's up again! This is how spoiled this dog is already.... she LOVES to ride on the scooter and thinks she's going for a ride every time she sees the cover coming off. She runs for the door and starts scratching to go out. So, a little before 9 a.m., Earl uncovered it so I could ride down to the gym for PT. She gets all excited.... thinks she is going. Earl couldn't bear to disappointher, so he tells me to take her to the gym with me and he'll drive over with the car and pick her up when I get there! So that's what we did. I took her in and showed her off to the therapy tech I was working with today. Then Earl had her waiting outside on the leash when I got home, so we went over to Surf Shack and to the grocery store for a few things. After that we had to run some errands.... Navy base to get Rx refills, Goodwill store with excess electronics, etc. It was a very busy day and I am EXHAUSTED!! Awwww... what a cutie! Love the color! WOW!! Nothing but fun and games with that girl, huh!!???? And SHE is ticked at YOU because you want your debit card back???? What's wrong with this picture??? -
Lots of posts today! Sorry about your parents, Cheri. That's a tough one. My sisters and I are having some concerns about our Mom and Uncle (her live-in) because of recent health problems. Would like them to go into assisted living but so far they are resisting. Aging parents... a challenge! Great article, Janet! Julie...hang in there... keep on keepin' on! Hugs! Laura... what a GREAT trip you are going to have! We'll be waiting to hear all about it! Escargot.... I'd be having some with you. Lori... very insightful comments... "grass is greener"!! Apples... when are you going to try the multi quote!! LOL Okay... that's all I can remember! I should take notes like Julie does! On liquids today and yesterday because I had a fill. But I'm ready for some real food now! HUNGRY! Went to the gym this afternoon... did a bunch of weight machines.. legs and arms, and 20 minutes on bike.

Thanks! I get discouraged sometimes that I'm not at goal yet, but I'll get there! Definitely sounds like you need an unfill. Shouldn't be having things come back up. I use Benefiber in my crystal lite.. a couple of tsps a day, and it keeps me regular. Congrats on going to the gym. Feels good, doesn't it!
