How much weight loss to expect?

My weight my first consultation was 291. I'm 5'10". My surgery was 4/16/13. Weight day of surgery was 284 and day i was released i was at 280. I went for a follow up this past Monday and I weigh 239. My exercise is pretty minimal right now due to a gout flare up that doesn't want to leave me alone. So I lost 41 pounds, somehow, in less than 3 weeks. Haven't weighed myself since though. -
I don't know. Between this and a gout flare up in my left knee and left ankle 3 days after surgery, it's about to kill me!

I had surgery 4/16 so almost 4 weeks.
