    Sleeve and gall bladder problems

Also gallbladder problems can occur from any rapid weight loss method. Surgical or non-surgical. A friend and I both had issues and had them removed years ago after we were both doing a slim-fast diet and dropped weight quickly.
  3. So happy for you and your new life!!! Enjoy it!

    Real coffee?

All plans are different. I was told at my 6 month post-op appt that I could try caffeine and see how it went. Went fine for me.

    Need Help

I was on liquids only for the 1st 2 weeks post op. I know I didn't have my protein or liquids numbers where they should be but Dr was more concerned with not becoming dehydrated so I sucked on SF popsicles and drank chicken broth. All Drs and programs are different.

    Chicken broth?

I did drink chicken broth in my post-op days. I tolerated hot liquids over cold or room temp Water in those days. I tried the low-sodium version but could not tolerate the taste. Drank the full sodium version. Not good I know for sodium levels but at that point I and my Dr were more concerned with getting fluids in. Protein numbers will increase soon but you don't want to become dehydrated. I had a problem with water plain or flavored until my 4 month mark so had to improvise with other liquids. Good luck on your journey!
  8. No you did not stretch your sleeve out. I had bad shoulder pain but it was the gas they pumped into me that somehow ends up as shoulder pain.

    When is too soon?

Everyone has different Dr orders on this. Mine was ok with decaf during pre-op and post-op then ok'd to try caf at 6 months.

    Been a while on here

You look great! Looks like you need to update your stats on the left under your pic?

    Calories.

At 2-4 weeks I was tracking protein and fluids but by way of that did have a tally of calories but wasn't trying to stay at a certain number if you know what I mean. That said I know I was in the 300-400 cal range for a several weeks.
  12. AMAZING transformation for both of you!
  13. You look like a new person! Feeling great too I bet!
  14. It's totally normal to feel tired and run-down after having major surgery. Anesthesia alone can knock you back for a while. Not sure about elevated temp but I basically slept most of the first days home and then had more waking hours each day. Was probably 10 days before I felt somewhat normal but even that wasn't the normal that it is today, Hang in there. It will improve each day!

    Spicy?

Mo spicy, mo better for me Thank goodness! Not like I eat it much anymore but haven't had any problems when I have.

    Is it normal

Normal. I felt a small pain when even taking small sips in the beginning. It will get easier each day.

    Great job!!
  20. I'm surprised his Dr still does lap-bands! Seems more are steering away from that surgery.
  21. Do a search on the forums for 3 week stall. It's just something that happens to many. Your body is catching up to your loss. This too shall pass

    Maybe im weird

Not sure when you had surgery but when you eat dense protein, chicken, etc... you will feel the restriction. Liquids don't usually do that. Good luck!
