Ever since I've started this journey in April, I've become someone else. I've never been so self conscious or moody in my life. This in turn had caused so many tears, fights, and the talk of divorce. We have two young children and I don't want the growing up in a broken home. I've suggested counseling but he doesn't believe in it. Sex is emotionless let alone me not wanting him to touch me because I feel that I'm so disgusting in my weight. Help.

I started in April and my insurance requires 6 months of nutritional visits. My first was in may so that puts me half way. Wow. Its flying by but I'm so ready!

My insurance requires 6 nutritional visits. But I hear they accept 4. I'm curious if they would accept me doing 4! I hope it works for you! -
I am waiting to finish my sleeve on my left arm until after surgery

I started the journey last month and when I met my surgeon he said "what are you thinking?" And I said "sleeve." He just nodded. He didn't tell me why that works for me and now after hearing stories I feel like bypass would be better. I have an issue with sweets and I feel that bypass would help me control it. Its almost like I physically need to feel sick if I eat too much sugar for my body to tell me to stop. Yes I know its a mental game as well. But I feel that I should at least go back to the surgeon and see why he thinks the sleeve is right for me or maybe he thinks the bypass is good too.

I was told by the receptionist to expect to be there for 2 hours!

Good for you. It was just a broken record for me. I've seen nutritionists many times. But whatever it takes I'm ready for! I hope this goes fast. -

Thank you! I have state insurance that requires 6 visits but I heard that they accept 4. I'm hoping I could do they, but I'm OK if I have to do 6. How has your journey been? -

It wasn't as painful as I imagined. I've been struggling with weight issues since I was four. She didn't tell my anything new. She recommend I start eating like I would after surgery. And taking vitamins. Yay food log! Already have been for years with WW. I'm ready for this journey!

I'm actually a certified personal trainer. It is a personal choice. But also a machine can target muscles free weights can't and same goes for using free weights. Also using free weights also use more of your corr and abdominal muscles.
