Yes and need help LOL Almost two years in and just recently started gaining weight. Tired of routine foods I was eating and started eating "whatever". I'm not even sure how many calories I am supposed to be eating at this point. I started at 242 and was steady for a great long time around 173. Now I'm 180 and freaking out. How are you doing? Are you still losing? How many calories do you eat a day and any food suggestions?

I had my surgery on April 9th. I stayed one night, was a bit nautious my first day, throwing up after a piece of ice. That was painful! That subsided and I did well. Up and walking and out the next day. Home now, starting to get twinges of gas pain in my left shoulder. I have been up walking around. I get pain in my lower chest/upper stomach when I take me meds. Maybe it is aggrevating my stomach?. I do get ulcer type pain, a pain in my stomach that gets intense and then goes away for no reason. I also have had a pretty good headache since I have been on my liquid diet. I'm attributing it to lack of caffiene. Other than that, I feel good. Cant wait to see my surgeon on the 17th and get the drain tube out! How is everyone else doing?

I loved reading your story! I had my surgery on the 9th of April (3 days ago). Had a pretty good headache once I started on my preop 3-day liquid, no sugar, no caffiene eating plan and it has not subsided since. I do get pain in my chest/upper stomach when I drink anything, most painful with meds. They have me on the same sugar free, liquid diet until the 16th, so I am getting tired of Jello and broth and not confident that I am getting all my liquids in. I love hearing great successes, I know it will take a short time to start feeling better and get going again.
