I have been overweight all my life. I am Puerto Rican and in my culture we live on carbs everything is carbs. After high school I gained another 60-75lbs. I am upset that I had let myself go :( . After seeing a few people that I know go through with the gastric bypass I thought about getting it myself. But emotionally I was not ready. After getting married to my best friend I thought long and hard about the surgery and now I think I am emotionally ready to get the sleeve done.
I just want clothes shopping to be fun. I want to know how that feels :( . I want to go into any store an not be a shamed. I want to fly and not be afraid that I wont fit in the chair or the person next to me is annoyed with me sitting next to them.
Little things mean more to me. I just want to be happy and feel comfortable with ME! And Now I think I am ready for this change.
