Hi all I'm scheduled for my surgery June 6th. Up until the last few days I have been so excited to have my surgery. It's been a long road to get myself here to this point. Now as I think about my future new self, skinny and healthy, I feel angry. I'm mad that I let myself get to this point that I have to do something this drastic to get back to a healthy place. I'm mad that I'm going to have flabby skin and that I'm going to lose my hair. I feel so down right now that I don't even want the surgery. Anyone else feel like this preop?

Make sure your not dehydrated! Muscle aches are also a sign of that!

Could it be the artificial sweeteners in them? I'm preop and have been working with my nut to find options for me as aspartame and other artificial sweeteners make me poop

My doctor said that with sleeve people can lose only 65% of their weight. I'm 5'5" and weigh 290. That would only get me to around 200 pounds which isn't good enough in my book. I'm seeing such different results here. Why the difference? Help! Did I make the wrong choice or should I go for the switch???

Can I ask? With that quick of a weight loss, do you have much lose skin? I'm so worried about this and want to know as I am still preop

I'm surprised your doctor lets you have Slim Fast. Mine said it was a no no because of the sugar. Glad to hear you are doing better!!

Is that normal? I haven't heard that but would really like to know.

I know. I'm waiting to hear if my doc submitted for me. I really need to have this surgery beginning if June so it's making me crazy waiting. I've called the office several times but no one has called me back. I'm becoming to crazed. I even think that maybe I'll go into the office to check in!!!
