Hello, had my sleeve on the 7th as planned. Got home today has had a lot of complications. Didn't have a lot of the wind but do have the phlegm so coughing is painful. With everything that happened in the op I have my fingers that it will all be worth it.

Got my date set for the 7th may. Just started day 1 of the diet from hell! Lol

Hello all, Well I'm a 37 year old lady with 3 children. I have always been large from around the age of 8. I started to eat more and more to block out my brother's and his friends sexual abuse. It continued for 4 years until my family found out that the boys were being sexually abused themselves by my next door neighbour. They were using me to prove that they were not gay. Hey ho, anyway, I had gotten into the habit of eating by then and carried on I had boyfriends and even married once and had to children with him. He turned out to be paranoid and would follow me everywhere including to the toilet and whole I was having a bath. I was diagnosed with PCOS and told that children would be out of the question. Surprisingly I fell pregnant with my daughter, it was 4 years before my son came along to the amazement of my gynaecologist. Both were conceived and born naturally. I eventually left my husband and met my present partner and had a girl with him again conceived and born naturally. The weight just kept piling on. I have tried several diets and went to my GP for a gastric band while waiting to see the specialist I had a stroke 5days after my 38th birthday largely due to my weight. My mum got so scared she has now offered for me to got private and I am now waiting for my date. I have to attend the support group next Tuesday and then I can go on the next available operating day. I looked into all the WLS but found the sleeve seems to be the best to go with my lifestyle. Along with coping with my issues I also care for my partner who is long term emotionally disabled and also for my mum who is physically disabled. I live in the U.K.
