I think there's also an element of confession that makes people feel better either because they want absolution or the criticisms make them feel like they've been absolved. LOL
Honestly I'd like to see more topics (although I'm sure they are there just not in current rotation) about those close to goal or in maintenance... biggest struggles, emotional changes, fears etc.
