Actually the opposite. There were so many that would come in, make ridiculous/rude posts like this one and then edit them down to nothing after calling exactly the names you just listed . After editing/deleting, they then cry innocent which is exactly what created the need for this new policy. It's quite amusing that those who love to cry out about "bullying" are often the first (and only) to name call. -

Yet, you "liked" the above post. Is this where I send prayers up to all? -

So if you are in the mood to start some drama and scribble it out as if you didn't say it, your time is limited. -
Calorie absorption. Wishful thinking?

Only a 10? Ok, half a kiddie sized. -
Calorie absorption. Wishful thinking?
LipstickLady replied to BCs 1000's topic in Food and Nutrition
Your body will absorb every single one of those calories. That said, I am not one that believes in total abstinence or substitution because no matter how many work around you try to eat, you will end up consuming that ice cream, too. Go get a kiddie sized and enjoy it. Don't bring it home, don't eat it in your car, eat it at the place and eat it slowly so you actually taste it. I think half my problem with obesity was how quickly I horsed my food down. I was never satisfied because I never enjoyed it. If you want more, it will be there next week, next month, next year. Eat a little and follow it up with a jog, a hike, a swim. Or better, exercise in advance and then treat yourself to a bit of Rocky Road. -
If something "comes loose", you need to seek legal counsel. That shouldn't happen under any circumstances. Why not? I started back with Martial Arts at 3 weeks. I was, of course, not allowed to spar and I was told to move at my own pace. I started back at Zumba at the same time. I was allowed to start swimming at 6 weeks -- once the incisions were healed. No weights for 8 weeks. Your doctor was very conservative.

I'm going to walk out before I say something y'all will regret. Let me guess..............Does it involve never giving a bull a giant straw? Self service. Takes a load off my plate.

Does anyone's goal weight still leave them "overweight" or "obese"?
LipstickLady replied to provenzee's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
If your words or gestures make her unhappy or uncomfortable, you're right, you shouldn't push. -

I get what you're saying but I think it's unfair. You can't help how you feel but voicing those opinions to anyone, especially your sister, whether it be through words or facial expressions is wrong unless you're asked. I don't get dressed for you, I get dressed for me. If you think I'm uncomfortable in my choices, that's for me to figure out, not for you to point out. Unless you squeezed me out of your vagina, your opinion of me is none of my business. -
Bra sales, yay or nay to shop pre-op?
LipstickLady replied to Heather I's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Underwear yes, bras, no. Your boobs will shrink but your cup size might not. You will shrink in band size, but not neccessarily in proportion to cup size. At one point, my cup went to a C and then back up to a DD. There is no rhyme or reason. I started at a 42DDD, ended up as a 36D. You might need side coverage, cleavage coverage, push up help... There are always sales. Don't waste your money. -

Well he would know as he is a coordinator for BP Mexico. And yes the number of surgeries they have performed is often time much greater than surgeons elsewhere. So yes HIS statement is true and factual! :eye roll: -

I would have told her that I didn't understand why she was such an assmuncher, but that's just me.

My doctor didn't/wouldn't set a goal weight either. He said my success was up to me to determine. I chose single digit pants size. -

Since inception, we've allowed members the ability to edit their posts for 28 days. I've changed this to 5 minutes. Also, updated the OP's name.Even a hour would be great, but when you don't like the responses? Nope. Here another idea, @@Alex Brecher. FB allows you to edit your posts indefinitely. It also allows readers to read post edit history. Can you do that? Read again, @@Alex Brecher. I edited it. . . Thank you! -

I hate it when people delete their OPs. @@Alex Brecher Can we do something to stop that from happening?? And can you fix the Op's name, too? She left us an ugly little insult on her way out. THANKS! -
Grilling at the beach....what to eat?
LipstickLady replied to ocgirl15's topic in Food and Nutrition
Great quality hot dogs on a stick. Skip the light or low fat junk. Sausages. Shrimp. Meatballs. Add chunks of onion, mushrooms, tomato to any meat on a stick and enjoy! Everyone else will be jealous of you. Add some cheese to your cooler, too. YUM!
