It absolutely makes NO freaking sense to me... **MY RANT**

@@AvaFern Clearly , there are a LOT of people here who don't have a basic level of education about their WLS or there would not be questions about 20oz steaks' or full pork chops within a week of surgery. There would not be the poor girl who asked if "anything through a straw" two days post op meant a milkshake' (her doc's guidelines were horrible). I think some people CHOOSE to read "judgmental tone" from certain forum members when none exists. The same opinion can be posted by 3-5 different people and only certain people are called mean or rude or accused of having attitude. It's the nature of the Internet. You've done great with your surgery in a pretty unconventional manner. I did great with mine following the guidelines pretty strictly. There is no one right way for everyone. Now that I'm maintaining, I've eased up on the strictness but at three years out, I know I can. Some people may never be able to do that, some, like you, can do it from the beginning. No matter which path we choose, hopefully we are all headed to the same place. -
Slow down?

Good for you!

Well, there's a little more to it, but cutting those items will definitely help.

You might.

Keeping It in Perspective: Has WLS Made You More Patient?

Way to turn a potentially interesting introspective topic into a passive aggressive attack on others. Good for you! -

@@dvons Never said she was. I told her to follow her surgeon's plans. That's not judgemental at all. -

@@Harsha I love you. You get it. -
Wow!! I don't see how you got it down. I'm 5wks postop and still on liquids Sent from my KFJWI using the BariatricPal App I think that's gonna be me, don't worry. You aren't alone. I have a stricture. I was on liquids/puree' until month three. YOU WILL LIVE. It sucks, but it is worth it.

No? How about tacos? Or chicken nuggets? That's okay though, right? Damnrite they are...............tacos are the ticket 24/7..............'specially the crunchy ones at week 3. WTF is going on with folks that have the wherewithal to arrange wls but can't divine the most basic of instructions regarding their lives an safety. I've seen less ignorance on the shooting ranges....... Idiots gonna idiot, i suppose. PLEASE NOTE. LIPSTICK LADY DID NOT CALL ANYONE STUPID, DUMB, UNEDUCATED OR AN IDIOT. out loud -

Oh dear lord, were you sleeved by a team of chimpanzees? Is that all the guidance your post op instructions contains? Special K protein' drinks' are not your best option, BTW.Actually I have an excellent doctor! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App I am sure your doctor is excellent. So where are your complete dietary guidelines? He/she had to give you more than that if so. And how much pre-op discussion did you have with him/her? Did he/she require classes? I left my doc with MANUALS of information detailing everything I could put in my face for my first 6 months including protein/calorie/carb goals. Suggested shakes', recipees, websites... I feel bad for you, seriously. After reading your history here, it seems as if your doctor provided you with absolutely nothing as far as education.. -

Did your surgeon give you any post op instructions? Did you take any pre-op classes? Just curious...
