You don't look dishonest at all. I find the whole "retraction" despicable and unless the OP is still in her late teens, she is far too old to act so immature and foolish. My only concern is that she is under some sort of duress, either legally or emotionally, to be lying now. No one doubts that it happened, it's too bad that she doesn't have the balls to stand behind it.

It's not funny. I apologize to the OP for not believing her in the first place and I do appreciate the fact that she is taking responsibility for her own mistakes in all of this. I do appreciate the doctor being named, not for my satisfaction, but to protect others. It adds much credibility to the op's story.

I'm not judging you, you are an adult and free to do the nasty with anyone you choose. That said, I'm sure there are very few people that are interested in having sex 4 days post op, much less in a foreign country with a total stranger. Please, expose the cad that seduced you! If this happened, it is unethical and should be known. Otherwise, I must say it smells like bull doodles to me.

My biggest problem is something that works one day won't work the next. That includes mayo salads, refried beans, etc. I never know what will work on what day.

Had my six weeker today and my NP is not happy with my food progress. I'm still having a hard time with anything much more than yogurt consistency. I can occasionally get down a few heavily mayo'd (gag) bites of chicken salad, but it's hard. She is giving me two more weeks and then sending me in for endoscopy and dilation. Should I be worried? I feel great! Just as snarky and britchy as ever. Not hungry, exercise daily, staying awake later with a summer nap here and there cuz I can. Eeeeek! I am so over the doctor's office.

I don't really know that I need one. I can eat rice cakes, peanut butter (licks), the insides of a pot pie and a few other things, but I can barely gag down chicken salad or tuna (barf!!!). I wonder if I am eating too fast or taking too big of bites off my cocktail weenie fork. ARGH!

Good morning, lovelies! I have a question for the veterans. I was sleeved on May 16, just over a week out, and am still on liquid phase. I am not having any problem sipping (with the exception of forgetting that swallowing a mouthful is not longer an option causing a little back up in the works) and I like my Premier or EAS shakes just fine, especially for Breakfast. I pour the entire thing over a cup of ice, it takes me about 2 hours to finish it, including the excess Fluid from the melting ice. For lunch, I am having a Dannon Fit and Light Greek 2x the Protein and 1/2 cup of milked down cream Soup. (I am going to start adding Protein powder to the soup to help there.) For dinner, I might have a little broth and MAYBE a pudding cup or a popsicle. My calorie intake is about 350-400, my protein is at about 45 and I am drinking about 36 ounces of fluid over the day. I know I am supposed to get in 60 grams of protein and my diet calls for three Protein Shakes a day but I just CAN'T do it. Again, it's not the taste, it's simply the thought of putting a straw in my face as another meal. (Yes, I got permission for a straw. I have far less air intake with a straw, no more pain and a lot less gas. My NUT wasn't happy, but the discomfort overrules the "rule".) I will call the NUT on Tuesday about my unwillingness to drink more than one shake a day right now. It's not inability, I just dread the thought of holding that much more fluid. I feel heavy, bloated and it honestly makes me so tired even contemplating walking to the fridge to open one. My energy is ok (I wont' say great), I don't feel deprived, I am not having any stress or depression over cooking my family yummy foods, and while the thought of a little taste/lick/chew is there, I know it's in my head only. Do I force the shake or just try adding in unflavored protein into my soup or yogurt? I just can't imagine more volume of food in my day. OH MY GAWD, did this chubbette just say that???

When were you dilated? Was it painful? How many times did you have to go? I am facing the same possibility now and I'm not worried, just a bit concerned about the process.
