Keep trying, you will get there. I am 6 weeks out and I still have dark urine and trouble getting all my Fluid in. I have a Water bottle with me at all times and have gotten myself up to at least 36 ounces a day, FINALLY. I am getting better each day, but if I am not carrying it, I don't do it. This is bizarre to me because I have always been a chugger. I hate hate hate not being able to chug a 20 oz bottle of water in under a minute like I used to do. I almost always feel thirsty, especially now that it is so hot outside and I would rather eat than drink. You will get there!

That's odd. It wasn't edited until AFTER my comment posted. But whatever... It's truly not worth another thought. I consider it a learning opportunity. If I am replying to something you said, I will be sure to quote it just to cover myself.

You haven't offended me and you don't need to apologize to me. I've said it before and I will say it again, I do think that you are overly sensitive and it boggles me how ruffled your feathers get when someone disagrees with you even though you put yourself right in the middle of a debate. It's your right to do so, of course, this is a public message board, but what's that saying about the heat and the kitchen? I will say that it twisted me a bit when I commented on something you said and then you went back and edited your comment. I would consider that a poor attempt to make me look bad, but I really don't care enough for it to matter. I do appreciate that you were honest about it, though. I sincerely hope your counselor is able to help you! I mean that.

I have no problem with people disagreeing with me. In my opinion, debate and discussion is how one learns and I am always open to that. That said, I do have a problem with people who play victim and go into girly dramatics where none is necessary if someone disagrees back. The whole goose and gander thing, you know?

Did your doctor give you Levsin (sp?) or the generic? I am 6 weeks out and I still take it from time to time but I was taking it with every meal at three weeks. It prevents the tummy from cramping and that, along with my nausea meds allowed me to get down a shake or a yogurt. I still had to force it because I didn't want it, but without my meds, it was impossible. Levsin (sp?) is for tummy cramps/spasms. I couldn't feel them but let me tell you, that stuff is a lifesaver.

Enjoy your time with your children! Remember, this will be their last summer at this age and your last summer as a chunky monkey!

Stay with me? Heck no! It was time for me to ask questions, walk out the toots, and just doze off for a few minutes here and there. I was discharged the next day so while he did visit in the mornings before work, I didn't even have him bring my kids up. I did have a few of my sorority sisters visit, which loved. I had the remote to myself, my iPad and my phone. What else did I need? Nothing!

Cheese is food. Hot sauce is not food. If she had a lick, I would see no problem having a drink of water with it. It has no calories, carbs or nutritional value. Hot sauce is a condiment and no one called you dumb. No dramatics needed. ...

I highly doubt she was going bottom's up with it. A taste, a spoonful maybe, but not a bowl with a spoon.

Hot sauce is not a meal nor is is a liquid. It's a condiment. I put it in my egg drop soup, in my pureed chili, in my chicken salad, eggs... The hardest part is not drinking with it because I like my hot sauce HOT.

My NP says that I have to go back at my 8 week mark and if I'm not better have an endoscopy and possibly a dilation. Let's hope that doesn't happen! I was able to eat 1oz of hamburger for dinner and a few tablespoons of quiche for breakfast today with no issues. That was a HUGE victory for me.
