Uhm....ok. I will stand by my thought that Dr.Garcia is clearly a gifted and well respected surgeon. If he did not feel his staff was in the wrong, he would not have let Luna go. I am sure all the patients who have worked with Dr. Garcia in the past trust him and trust his decision to do the right thing. I have no need to prove to you what else I know. I will leave it at that and wish you a good night! Your opinion of me means little to naught.

Obviously she thought it was more and obviously she was wrong. Do I think she came out with this because she was a woman scorned? YUP. Do I think she retracted her story because she was sweet talked? YUP. Do I think she was wrong sleeping with him? YUP. Did he take an oath to protect his patients? YUP. Did they both make foolish decisions? YUP. Does is suck for everyone involved? YUP. The moral of this story is, keep it in your pants if you can't handle the consequences no matter if you have a genie OR a peenie.

Hello to you, too! She wasn't the only one who made these claims. I am sure that Dr.Garcia didn't let Luna go on this one claim and that there were either previous incidents or a lot more was uncovered. I am fairly certain that there is proof that this CONSENSUAL affair did happen, and they were both wrong. The only difference is, as I stated before, he had a lot more to lose.

Just like she made the choice, HE made the choice. He just had a lot more to lose. It's bizarre to me that they were both equally responsible for this nonsense yet you feel that HE is the victim. Did he really think that no one would ever turn on him? That's quite egotistical IMHO. He was just as wrong as she was and he should have kept it in his pants. That's the bottom line.

I am not a big yogurt fan, but it's obviously become a staple in my life this last month. I am allowed smooth, no lump, greek yogurt as part of my full liquid phase so I've obviously been stuck with vanilla 75% of the time. I've been eating Dannon Fit and Light, Greek, Double Protein at 80 calories and 12 grams of protein. The other day, while stocking up at Walmart, I found the new Dannon Blends line. It includes Orange Cream, Key Lime, Coconut Vanilla, and banana Cream. I have had all of them but the Orange and they are delicious. I am not a huge coconut fan (I'm a liker not a lover) and it's subtle but good. This line isn't overly sweet and you can't really taste the Greek in it. What a great choice! SO much better than another chocolate Protein shake. Blurp.

I have lost 49 pounds and only two people (one of them today!) who didn't know about my surgery have noticed. REALLY PEOPLE!?!?!

When I told my sorority group, I made it very clear that I was NOT asking for opinions unless they were supportive. I made it very clear that I did not want to hear any horror stories and if they had anything negative to say, they were welcome to do it behind my back. I let them know that I was NOT looking for their permission, but I their support if they chose to give it. This group of ladies have been by besties for 20+ years but some of them are naturally skinny and have been vocal about WLS in the past, so I was nervous about telling them at all. I waited until about a week before surgery and I asked that my news be kept within our group. I was amazed and tickled at how positive everyone was (at least to me directly). I've not heard a single negative word, thankfully. That said, I did not nor will I announce it in general because I don't want the response you got and I am so sorry it happened to you. Keep your chin up and keep on moving towards your surgery with your head held high. This is NOT the easy way, the chance of you living life in misery forever and ever is slim to none and what you are doing is for the best, health wise. You are making a long term commitment to yourself and really, that's all that matters in the long run, right?

Awwww, thanks. I really don't have a choice but to progress at my own pace of learning and healing, so the only attitude is a good attitude. That said, I beat the crap out of a punching bag in kickboxing last night. It's a great stress reliever.

I am the same way and am still on pureed/soft foods at 6 (almost 7) weeks out because of it. My NP is threatening dilation if I don't get better and I really don't want any more procedures. I am now religiously using a cocktail fork and a baby spoon, as ridiculous as that sounds. I am also getting up and walking a bit after each bite just to stop myself from putting in another before 30-45 seconds has passed at least. NP wants a full minute, but that's just making me crazy. Use tiny utensils, set a timer, walk around, count, do whatever you need to do to slow it down. It's better for your stitch line, your digestion, and your ability to keep food down and progress normally. Plus, you will learn to feel when you are full faster and that's what we all desire for maximum weight loss, right? (But really, I want to stab myself in the eye at all times because of this!!!) (With my cocktail fork!!!)

I am 6 weeks post op and I still can't get in all my Protein. In fact, my doctor has stalled me in pureed and some moist meats because I can't swallow much more than that and I am facing possible dilation to help me along. Get creative! I started making quiche this weekend for variety. I am still drinking a Protein shake (almost) everyday. Greek yogurt is not a favorite, but I am eating it. I have figured out that I can eat some cream cheese and Peanut Butter because I can't get in more than 300-400 calories. I am starting to make my own finely diced seafood salad, egg salad and ham salad. You can have refried Beans with a bit of Water to loosen them up. There are a lot of options, you just have to be creative!

Seems to me that BS pulled away. Kristina shouldn't be made to feel guilty for protecting herself and her integrity. I have no doubt that Kristina would be there for BS if she needed her, but that said, she doesn't need to enable her in this ridiculous situation. You are bashing someone that doesn't deserve it.
