No bun! It will take up too much room. I've had a Hebrew National 98% ff, but next time I will try a one with a bit more fat as I never meet my calories. I dip in an awesome mustard and next time I may add a bit of sauerkraut. Low sugar baked beans will round out the meal!
  2. Have you spoken to your nut about suggested dietary requirements and a menu?
  3. I have similar stats, but I started about 23 pounds heavier. I am 65 pounds down and my skin is bouncing back pretty well. My arms are the crappiest part, HELLO WATERWINGS! It all depends on age, skin condition, where you hold your weight and genetics.

I answered this question in your identical thread "I made a mistake". Consider posting your questions only once so as not to confuse everyone. You will get through this!

You're hangry. It's normal. Enjoy the company, sip your drink, and enjoy the healthy new you that is emerging.

    Sleeve after bypass

Which phase of the diet allows that?
  8. Oh, I do love quiche! I was making those on my soft foods and forgot all about them. Thanks for the reminder. I've not tried ham salad yet, that's a great idea. And what exactly is in spinach souffle? It looks so gross, but I do like spinach. If it has feta in it, even better!
  9. Oh! And the other day I stir fried some paper thin steak, topped it with mozzarella and provolone and had a breadless philly cheesesteak. That was AWESOME!
  10. Scallops stick, shrimp works and some grilled fish works, they just don't work as smoothly. Soup hurts unless I just eat the broth or just eat the chunks and chicken makes me vomit almost every time. UGH... I do like my babybels, though!

    Sleeve after bypass

*Their. And no, I don't always tell people what they want to hear. In fact, I'm quite bitchy at times. That said, I support people who want to lose weight, and taking away hope before they even start the process (even if it is for a second time) will not help anyone. Now if she was here, sleeved again and making stupid decisions and asking for someone to validate those decisions, I'd jump all over that. I've done it before, I will do it again and I will not apologize for it.

Never mind. I scanned through your previous posts.

Nobody is whining, but you sure do sound hostile. Are you having a bad day?

    Sleeve after bypass

Look at all the people who have had lapband, didn't do well and revised it to a sleeve and are doing great! Think of those who had the sleeve, revised it to a switch and are losing again. Perhaps I do have rose colored glasses but at least I am able to hope for and offer support for someone who may benefit from another procedure or more medical help. Don't forget. Questions aren't just answered for the OP. They are also answered for those who are lurking, researching, reading, and looking for answers to questions they have not thought to ask or afraid to because of people who are so negative. Best of luck to you, too!

So wait. You aren't even sleeved, yet you are an expert on what may or may not work for another? Amazing!
  16. I'd do full sugar Gatorade. That's the only thing I could tolerate. It took me hours to down a 16oz bottle but I felt SO MUCH better when I finished it. Water is too "hard" when you are newly sleeved, especially when you are already dehydrated.
  17. You can totally do it!!
  18. Growling is the gurgling noise you will hear for a week or so, totally normal. And yes, you may WANT to drink that much, but what you want and what your sleeve wants may be two different things. Unfortunately for you, your sleeve is now the boss. Don't fret, you will get there.

Tuna fish or chicken salad during pureed stage...

I used plain Greek yogurt instead of mayo along with a little dijon mustard. When I was tired of that, I used avocado in my chicken salad for moisture. YUM!
  20. I took anti nausea meds along with Levsin, an anti cramping medicine, for my first two months every day. One day I woke up, the nausea was gone and I stopped. I still have a prescription on hand just in case. Ask your surgeon for a prescription. Nausea is torture.
  21. Normal. I still have days like that and I was sleeved May 16. They are far and few now, but Gatorade days were normal for me for about 4 weeks.

    HATE This

Poor thing! You will get there. You aren't even a month out so it's hard, but be patient. By the time you are landing in France, you will feel a million times better and you will be even skinnier! One day at a time...
  25. You didn't even lick anything?
