I doubt bougie size makes that much of a difference. Here is an interesting chart. -

Definitely measure, without it, you really have no idea what you are actually eating. My kids love any Mexican and I cook it regularly. I love it, too, because there is a lot of flavor and I can actually eat hamburger. When I measure the meat in a taco, it's usually only about an ounce or an ounce and a half so you are probably eating less than you think. (A burrito is another story.) I personally make taco-less tacos. I spray pam a little ramekin and then layer 2oz of meat, a half ounce of cheese, and 1/8 cup of Beans, a half ounce of cheese and then microwave for a few second to melt the cheese. I then top it with pico de gallo, maybe lettuce, thinly sliced onion, a bit of guacamole and maybe some sour cream. I can rarely finish it, but it's great for Breakfast the next day. -

Grazing isn't good. Make your meal, measure and log it and give yourself 30-45 minutes to eat it. When meal time is over, no more food until the next meal or snack. Make sure you are taking your PPI as acid mimics hunger and it could what you are eating that is creating the "hunger" you think you feel. Are you drinking before/with/after your meal? -
That's going to be a hard diet for you to follow with your limited resources, isn't it?

Just putting it out there, so 'dirty' little secrets may see the light of day!

I made a pot roast and homemade mashed potatoes for the family night before last. I can tolerate beef very well but that chuck roast immediately evacuated back through the way it came. I figured it was just a bad night as I have those from time to time, but I tasted it the next day and BOOOOOOM, out it came. The mashed taters were the same. They made me feel as if I had swallowed a rock. SOB!!!! I am in serious denial right now. -
What time should I be there? Does she prefer a bottle of red or white?

I started eating nuts 3 months out. Almonds are your best choice but I do love peanuts.

I can't tolerate any kind of poultry, so I will be cooking ham and prime rib. I love to cook and I love to feed people, but I will be making healthier dishes with the exception of my most asked for cookies.

Nope. She's a higher belt than me and she hit me first. She should have had more control so it was clearly intentional. I just gave it back. Worse.

I only did 3 miles yesterday and 3.7 today so I am off to a slow start. That said, I did 100 push ups and I beat the crap out if someone I can't stand during a sparring class today. Even better, no gloves, so my knuckles are purple and swollen as is she from the jaw down to her waist. She started it by hitting me in the face during a no contact class and it was on. Totally fab!

Can i have one night of drinking?
LipstickLady replied to sleeveddoll's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You can get your mind off things without alcohol if you work at it. Your pre-op diet exists to shrink your liver and to get you as healthy as possible pre-op. Alcohol is NOT good for your liver. I am no prude nor am I a teetotaler. I lived in a sorority house for 4 years and I still drink my share of cocktails at the old lady age of 42. Difference now is that I just put my body through a MAJOR surgery so that I could change the food addiction I had before and make myself into a new, healthier being. Alcohol will not prepare you for that, in fact, it's detrimental to your health. You will be able to drink again, it may just be at New Year's instead of tonight. I assume you are an adult, but if you had to ask, you probably know, deep down in there, the answer is that it is not a good idea. -

six days post...Scrambled eggs. Bad idea?
LipstickLady replied to FatToFabulous's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
So really, you weren't asking the question from a "I want to protect my health and well being" point of view, you were simply wondering if you were the only one who craved foods off your diet? Obviously, the answer the title is, yes, it's a bad idea. Your stomach is numb, your staple line is healing and you are risking a leak when you do not follow doctor's orders. I can't imagine an egg is worth that. But as you were obviously not asking that question... No, you are not weird for wanting an egg or anything else not on plan. Giving into those cravings is what got me fat in the first place, though, and because I love ME, I had major surgery for ME and I really don't want to go back to the hospital over ANY food item, I stuck to plan while I was healing. I did this to get healthy, NOT to give in to urges that I know are bad for me. -

And to the OP? Thank gawd you got away from them before you married 'em. You will find the person who deserves you and she will love you for all the RIGHT reasons, but first YOU have to love you for all the right reasons. -
My rings are literally falling off. My gift to myself when I get to goal is to have them reset in platinum. They are in yellow gold now and I never wear yellow gold so it's totally justifiable, right?

Amen, sister. And you will be yoga-ing in those pants before you know it. My exercise clothes are finally being used for more than warming the couch. ON PURPOSE! -

Tell that to my husband or any of my boyfriends before him. I was a fat hot chick, I am now a hot chubby chick and I will be a hot skinny chick. The men in my life were attracted to me physically and mentally. I don't do superficial people like you are/are describing. I am FAR smarter than that. I'd call your comments extremely offensive but I do find it quite delicious to see one's true colors. -
