    Explosive...

    Shrimp?

I do the oven baked kind. Fried would make me poo, I'm sure.

    Shrimp?

Mine is tempura shrimp with cocktail sauce with EXTRA horseradish.

    sex

Why do you think that is?

    Shrimp?

I love shrimp but that close out, I'd go with salmon or something flakier. I can only eat 2-3 shrimp, but a bit more fish. Shrimp is heavy. Yummy, but heavy.

    Insecure about myself

I wish I would have done this when I only had 100 pounds to lose.

    9 days pre surgery

    Where was I critical?

    9 days pre surgery

Gosh... We could have said the same thing about eating, don't you think? Unfortunately, there is no surgical help for smoking. Smoking is an addiction just like over eating. Tough love is good, supportive words are better.

I finally got to the 100s!

    Yay you!! That's so exciting.

    Starbucks?

Look at the online site for nutritional facts. I drink a sf/ff latte or misto almost daily. Low cal, low carbs, good protein. Wait until you are cleared for coffee, though. Drink caffeine free until you are cleared for that, as well.

    9 days pre surgery

Start fresh now, not tomorrow. You can do it.
  13. I have two active teens. We have spent SO MUCH quality time together .... wait for it ..... wait for it .... BEING ACTIVE!! My oldest and I like to Zumba, my youngest and I like to swim. All of us do martial arts and kickboxing together. We love to walk the mall and they make sure I get my 10k steps in. Rarely do we sit around and watch movies, now we get out and go to the park, to the soccer fields, to the track, to the gym... Building muscles AND memories.

Tired of hearing I'm too skinny!

So, as I am always the epitome of tact, may I ask how skinny you are? I snooped your profile and you have no stats!

    Thoroughly unscientific poll

Having said that, I was completely thrilled to get out of obese and into overweight.

    Thoroughly unscientific poll

I am one of those who doesn't care about a "normal" BMI. There are too many things wrong with that unit of measurement if athletes can be obese without an ounce of body fat on them. Clothing size is the measure for me.

    Thoroughly unscientific poll

I don't have a number in mind, I have a clothing size in mind. A number on the scale means nothing because as a female, a woman who weighs 200 pounds can wear a 14 as can a woman who weighs 160. I want to be a SIZE, not a weight. Just me, though.

    Before and after pictures

YAY YOU!!!! What a fabulous accomplishment.!!!
  19. CUTIE PATOOOOOOOTIE!!!!
  20. I am tempted to say I want to hit 131. That would put me at HALF the woman I used to be.
  21. When I decided to have this surgery, I wanted to hit 180. That was the lowest I had seen since kids so that's the only low weight I knew. When I hit 200, I decided that 180 was going to be too "easy" to get to so I decided on 160 as my max lowest. When I hit 170, I decided that I would make a stretch goal of 150 and that would be final. (Then I decided I really wanted to be in the 140s, so I dropped a pound.) Now I have decided to say F-U to a weight number and work on getting to a SIZE. I am in 10s and will be in 8s in about 10 pounds. I can wear 8s at some stores but not everywhere which, to my OCD self, doesn't count yet. I think my goal is a comfy 8 and a tight 6. My intent is to talk to a few people I know and who I am close to who are my height and my ideal body "look". Since I cannot see myself yet (total body dysmorphia), I will stretch to be the same size as someone I CAN see. I know our shapes may be different but I think that will be close to where I need to be. It's a journey, not a destination. I just don't know where I am going to set up house yet.
  22. Thanks, all! I didn't mean to turn this into a LOVE ON LIPSTICK thread. (Not complaining!!) Just saying that even at the old age of 40 plus a few and a hundred pounds down on a shorter frame, one can and will look healthier than a morbidly obese woman. I do exercise regularly but I love doing it, oddly enough. I eat healthy foods most of the time. I do NOT drink enough Water, so there is room for improvement there. I have saggy boobs, my ass has under-cheeks because it's a bit droopy. My thighs look like melted candle wax (not so much wrapped around Mr.LL) and my tummy is "loose". My arms flap A LOT during Zumba, and I have a bit of a waddle under my (ONE!!!ONE!!!ONE!!!) chin. My body isn't perfect, but it's so fecking healthy and getting fitter every day. My shoulders are awesome. I have gorgeous biceps. I own collar bones and hip bones!!! Did I mention that I have ONE!!!!ONE!!!!ONE!!!! chin? The way I feel much much much makes up for my physical imperfections. My physical imperfections now are much more attractive than those I had 100 pounds ago. I am so happy. SO SO SO happy.
  23. I was 15 pounds heavier there than I am now. The dress is a good cut. I am just into size 10s and I bought a pair of size 8 Seven Jeans. They are too tight but will fit soon. I have plenty of meat on my bones, trust me.
