    Let's talk about breast

42DD to a 36D looooooooong. When I bend over, they look like stretched out tube socks. It's not pretty. That said, I look great in clothes as I was a size 20 and am now a size 6/8. I really don't give a flying fook what my boobs look like when I am bent over braless.

    My surgeon was just arrested!

WHAT.!?! If your doctor gives you permission to have a drink he/she is probably an alcoholic? Are you kidding?

My butt is in serious denial...

    :faint: You do that?

    Why would you do that?

How much did you weigh when....

I am 5'3" and weight 151 pounds. I am extremely fortunate to be very well proportioned. Big ass, big boobs, skinny waist. My build is on the stocky muscular side, I've never been willowy, even when I was a size 0 cheerleader, so.... Most 8s are too big, my 6s are getting loose and 4s turn me an odd shade of blue. I was a size 20 at 268 pounds, a size 16 at 200 pounds, a size 12 at 185, and a size 10 at 165 pounds. Every store is different, though, that's just an average.
  7. Totally normal! I was the same on both counts.

Remember, height plays a huge part in all this!

    Bored, Bored, Bored

Go out and find a sport or exercise you love. The stronger you are preop, the better your recovery. Plus, if you love it and miss it during recovery, you will look forward to returning to it post op. The more you move, the better you will lose, look and feel.

    What happens to the staples?

Wait! We don't poop them out? I've had titanium screws and plates in my head for 5 years. In fact, a big chunk of my skull is metal. It's all good.
  11. I've got it! Don't Sweat the Stall Stuff.
  12. It's all fun and games until someone hits a stall!

    I'm so grateful for Eggs!

Scramble them super soft with a bit of Gouda and finely diced onion and spinach when you get permission. It's heavenly. I lived off crust less quiche during my soft foods stage. Mine lasted about 6 weeks, so I made every type of quiche imaginable.

    Weight Gain Panic

Girl, if you are worried about .2 pounds, you are in for a long haul. Relax, it's normal. You will have weeks you lose, weeks you stay the same and weeks that you gain a pound or five. Track your intake, move your body, and go by how your clothes feel, not by the number on the scale. You will drive yourself insane otherwise.
  16. Your fitbit and myfitnesspal give caloric recommendations for "normal" people, not those who have had WLS. I am 14 months out and my NUT still wants me at 900 calories. I've ignored her recommendation because I don't want to maintain that low and am very near goal, but I rarely exceed 1500 calories because I eat healthy and have a very good restriction. When I do eat that much, it's after a LOT of exercise. Relax. Your body will figure it out.

How often do you step on the scale?

3-4 times a day, for real. Fluctuations don't bother me a bit. I'm completely fascinated (yes, even almost 14 months out) that I only weigh 152 pounds. FASCINATED.

    I hate this site :(

Eh...the OP is still actively posting. Must have been a moment of hangriness.
  19. "Oh my gawd! Why didn't I think of that?!"
  20. I'd recommend looking at AVON products, but I'm biased.

    My plastics before and afters

You must eat like a bird.
  22. Do you really need someone to point out the difference between small talk and a deliberate insult? Seriously? Noting that you are very recently sleeved, not near goal and have not lived with any if the "aftermath" of going from morbidly obese to thin in a relatively short period of time, you have very possibly not heard how snide some of the "eating like a bird" comments are. Yes, some of them are clearly insults or judgmental and that opinion does not come from your assumption (you know what people say about assuming ) of psychological issues or an eating disorder.
  23. Uhmmmm....good for you? Congrats on the weight loss and blood numbers. I sincerely hope you are able to maintain that as you get older. But really, six ice cream sandwiches for dinner after diabetes and WLS? I also hope that was an irregularity in diet and that you care more about your health than that.
