None! Don't vacuum, don't lift stuff. I was outpatient, and drove the next day. Walk as much as possible to get the gas bubbles out and get as much rest as you can. If you do all your laundry and clean the house before surgery, you shouldn't need to do anything at all right after.
The only caveat is if you have a dog. My dog loves to chase an occasional squirrel so I was afraid to walk her for a few weeks post op. Other than that, there's nothing you shouldn't be able to do.
How would one liquid be more likely to stretch your sleeve than any other, say.... Water? That's preposterous.
I heard the same thing in support but I never bought that jive. Alcohol and soda and crap will put weight on a person but actually stretching a sleeve is, from what I've read, nonsense. It's the swelling going down; rarely it's due to some sort of dilation.
Anyway ultimately it's what goes into our mouths.
Corrrrrrrrrect!
I am your height and I was about 10 pounds heavier when I started than you are now according to your sidebar stats.
I would MUCH rather have saggy skin than die early of complications from my obesity. I might not look like a bikini model naked, but I sure do look a helluva lot better in my clothes. Plus I have the ability to do anything I want. Grab a hold of your life while you are young!!
In these pictures I am about 6-7 pounds heavier than I am now. Where would you rather be in a year or two?
My surgery was almost two years ago and I've been "at goal" for over a year. I am still amazed when I see pictures of myself not fat.
The kid in this picture is a size 2. I am not. Ha!
I am so sorry. There are no words I can say that can take away the heart ache that you must be experiencing, but please know that you are in my thoughts.
I keep my heat set at 74, have the fireplace and a space heater running and sleep in long johns under my jammies. My husband calls spring/winter/fall his "dry spell" because he isn't getting any. I am NOT taking off a stitch of clothing when I'm always freezing.

"Wow! It's hard to imagine that you don't know how rude you are."
"I'd hate to think you thought that was a compliment."
"You really didn't think that comment through before you said it out loud, did you?"
Follow any of those up with a patronizing "bless your heart" smile snd walk away. Or tell her to suck your ass, your choice.
Girl, if there is ever a time to stress eat, this is it. Bring some knitting, paint your nails while you wait, walk the halls.
Tell her to feel better soon and give her a hug from me! A hug to you, too. That's tough.
