Well if you "chew it really well" ... -

Wouldn't it be a dream, though, if people understood that they can take whatever feedback they are given (no matter what it is) as positive or negative? That's it's totally up to them to interpret it how they want? Oh, only in my happy place... -
Cool. Can you put that in your signature so I know I won't offend you when I do exactly that?

How long do you need to wait to eat almonds or peanuts?

No nuts or seeds here for 3 months, but I could have no sugar added nut butters of the smooth variety. I poured the oil off the top of the all natural types and enjoyed a small spoonful in my Protein shake or all by itself. I got used to those so now, the regular types are far too sweet. -
@@JustWatchMe Yay you. You should be SO proud of yourself.

If it works for you, do it. That said, if you do stray so wildly off course, don't expect too much sympathy when you complain about stalls like you did. And DO NOT expect a whole lot of support when you congratulate/condone/encourage such self destructive and potentially dangerous behavior in others. -

Please do! With extra olives and a few pretzels to boot! -
I vote M&M's are. Peanut M&M's. Ew. No. Dove Promises. Dark.
-
Honestly? That's a lot easier said than done. That said, if you CHOOSE to eat a fry or an M&M or an oreo, do so consciously, enjoy it, log it, and reflect on if it was really worth it. Some things really are, most things are not.

Only if we chew 40 times and add some Schnapps!

C'mon over to the dark side....

I would definitely think twice before taking "adda boys!" and "go for it!" type of advice from anyone whose posting history clearly shows self destructive behavior. (Yup. I said it. Take your best shot at me now.) -

I need a shower now. Thank you...

I can't speak for WE which is why I only ever speak for ME. For me? I started holding myself more accountable when I figured out that every bite of good/bad/indifferent is a conscious choice. I felt guilty about cheating and I would often try to justify it with the idea that I did so because bad day/celebration/bored/lonely/birthday/PMS/etc. I feel ACCOUNTABLE for choices so I more often choose NOT to. What you do, is yours.

We all have one thing in common. We all are or were fat and we all want to improve our health via weight loss. Maybe it's the band, the sleeve, bypass or a "traditional" weight loss method, but no matter our choices we want to be thinner and healthier. I would guess that most of us have defined ourselves by our body size in the past and some still are in the present. We are so much more than that! Tell me something about YOU that makes you special.
-
I've got to disagree. And I can only speak for myself. It's all about accountability, it's all about ownership, it's all about acknowledging that I am creating my own destiny, whether it be to lose weight, gain or maintain. I have no doubt it's semantics for some, but for me, it's empowerment.

You might want to dim your monitor and turn down your speakers because if one more person says those magic words...
