I don't have my tatas pierced but if they were I could avoid any xray trouble by throwing them up over my shoulders. I do have ten ear piercings, a few of which I have NO IDEA how to remove. EEEEEK!

This is exactly why I started my pre-op diet 4 weeks prior to surgery instead of the prescribed two. I figured if I was going to flub it up, it would be within the first two weeks, so I gave myself some wiggle room.

I get a perfect turkey every time, too... Every time I go to the market and buy a rotisserie turkey breast, hot and juicy, for only $5.99. Perfectly cooked, no clean up and cheaper than a raw turkey.

I literally cringe when I see people telling others that it's OK to take certain medications or herbal supplements. ASK YOUR DOCTOR!! Only he or she knows about possible drug interactions, allergies, physical side affects that pertain to you as an individual... Strangers on the internet should never ever replace his or her medical expertise.

Mine finally stopped dripping for no apparent reason, but it does drip when I am bordering on full. I love it. It's totally my warning sign that I need to stop eating NOW. Sometimes I am full after a 1/2 cup, sometimes I am full after a few tablespoons. I can't always tell, but my nose can! It's my built in personal alarm. When I listen to my nose, I never get the gacky I gotta throw up NOW feeling, when I don't, well...

Clearly you've not seen all the threads about popcorn, pizza, swedish fish, pork chops and tacos. Ha, but those aren't asking for support, they're asking for permission But how many have popped in to say it worked fine for them so it should work fine for err'ybody??

You need to shake up your metabolism (in my opinion) and that might mean adding calories if you can. What are you eating? What worked for me? High Protein, high fat, low carb. I added mayo, real dressing, full fat cheese, almonds, avocado, olive oil, to my protein to up my calories without adding carbs. I ate an egg plus an egg yolk, real sour cream with my re-fried Beans, etc. The fat kept me full longer and added calories when I really didn't have room for them through just lean protein. Just my opinion.

I'm also curious about this. Any weight loss surgery is going to lose a lot of it's effects years later, that's how people end up regaining. You've done a good job maintaining a lower weight. What's going to happen in 2 more years when the restriction wears off again? Are you going to keep having it done over and over? I am 3.5 years out. My restriction has not "worn off".

I don't think they are. I'm in several WLS groups and yes, there are complications, but nothing like reported on this site.

My husband just side-eyed me about it. My mom just gave me a Blendtec blender to replace my Osterizer. It works like a champ but it's HUGE. I have no idea where I am going to store the Instant Pot.
