Congrats. ..we are almost identical. 6.25.13 surgery date 265 today 226.4 The ups and downs can drive you crazy but it's definitely worth it. I saw some parents at a fball game on Sat that were like you've lost weight and you look really good. What an awesome feeling soooo worth it...

June 25th down 33.6. I don't have alot of cravings. But usually if I want something I'll have it because after 2 or 3 fork fulls I done anyway. Last weekend I really wanted a cheese steak. I got it, gave hubby half ,I ate about 4 forks of the meat and cheese no roll and I was full. Took 2 days to eat half of the sandwich w/o the roll -
I can't lie the whole box is still in my room. I just couldn't do it. I just made sure I got up walked hourly to prevent blood clots. Just call me chicken.

Hello Everyone, This is my first time posting but I'm so happy to have found this forum. Just knowing you are not alone in the struggle has been refreshing. My surgeons office submitted my paperwork on June 10th, so I'm smack dab in the middle of the waiting game. I'm tentatively scheduled for surgery on Tuesday the 25th. Needless to say my emotions are all over the place. I know in my heart that I have made the absolute best decision not only for me but for my family. Ive known for a very long time that I cannot be the best Mom and Wife possible until I start taking care of me. So this is it "My time". I look forward to sharing this journey with all of you. Anyone out there from SJ or Philly???

I have been stuck at 17lbs lost since July 5th. I'm sure its partly because of lack of Protein and Water. How are you making out with that?? I just want to start losing consistently. -

30 lbs wow that's awesome!!!!! Is that all post-op or did you lose some before surgery? I live in Sicklerville/Erial near Camden County College. My surgeon is Dr. Salcone "Lady of Lourdes" in Camden. -

GM-14 days post op I'm doing ok. Returning to work today. I've lost 17lbs since surgery but stalled about 3days ago. Just started puree stage yesterday. When were you sleeved and how are you doing? -
A little discouraged

Pureed stage is confusing because you still can't eat alot of things. Made some mashed potatoes. Just can't bring myself to eat baby food. My nut suggested pureeing chili. 2 weeks of this....the count down begins.. -
